Therapist Visit Log and Payouts for Physiotherapy Clinics
Every completed session and home visit is logged against the therapist who did it. At month end the payout is worked out from those logs using the clinic’s own pay rules.
The visit log
The log fills as therapists mark their sessions done during the day.
How payouts are worked out
A clinic may pay a fixed salary, a rate per session, a share of the fee or a mix of these. The rule for each therapist is entered once. At month end the amounts are calculated from the log and shown for the owner to check.
Who sees what
A therapist sees their own sessions and what has accrued so far. The owner sees every therapist and the clinic’s total. Reception sees neither, and only the owner can change that.
What the clinic decides, and what is outside
The clinic decides every pay rule, how a cancelled session is paid, and what a share is calculated on. Salary processing, tax deducted at source and statutory deductions are not worked out here. The clinic’s accountant handles those from the payout figures.
Frequently asked questions
Can two different pay methods be used in one clinic?
Yes. One therapist can be on a fixed salary and another on a rate per session, with each rule held against that person.
Is a session paid if the patient did not turn up?
Only as the clinic’s rule says. Some pay a part for a no-show and others pay nothing, and the rule is set once.
Can a therapist query a figure?
Yes. A therapist can open the list of sessions behind the total, so a disagreement is settled against the dates and patients.
Does it connect with a biometric attendance device?
It can, if the clinic has one. The make of device and how it connects is confirmed during scoping.
