Solar Installer Software Connections to WhatsApp, UPI and Tally
Solar installers already run on WhatsApp, UPI and an accounts package, and the software plugs into those. What depends on another company’s system is confirmed with you during scoping.
Connections and what they do
What depends on the other system
A message channel needs an approved account and templates, and a gateway needs your own merchant account. Tally needs a format your accountant accepts. A monitoring link needs the maker’s permission. Nothing here is assumed until the other party confirms it.
Confirmed during scoping
- Which message channels you use and who approves templates
- Which payment gateway, if any, is already in use
- The Tally version and the voucher format your accountant wants
- The scanners and printers in the godown
- Which inverter makes you install and what their portals allow
What stays outside
Filing on a DISCOM or government portal stays with your team, who make those submissions and record the result in the file. Nothing is sent on your behalf. Portals change often.
Frequently asked questions
Can messages go out in Kannada or Hindi?
Yes. Message templates can be written in the language you use with customers, and you approve each one.
Do we need a payment gateway?
No. Bank transfer and UPI receipts can be entered by hand. A gateway only adds a payment link on the invoice.
Can inverter data show up in the system?
Not by default. It depends on whether the maker lets a third party read data. That is checked brand by brand during scoping, before any promise is made.
Is Tally integration included?
Not built in. Linking to Tally can be priced as extra work if your accountant wants it.
