Service Visits and AMC Tracking for Rooftop Solar Installers
Every commissioned plant can have scheduled cleaning, inspection visits and fault calls. Maintenance contracts are tracked by plant, with visits due and renewals shown to the service desk.
Visits against a plant
Maintenance contracts
A contract carries its start and end dates, the visits promised and the amount agreed. Renewals due show a month ahead. A lapsed contract is marked, so a technician knows whether a visit is billable. Renewals are not forgotten.
Linked records
The technician opens the plant and sees its serial numbers and warranty status. A part that is still under warranty can be raised as a claim from the same visit, and a billable visit goes to invoicing.
What the client decides
- How many visits a contract includes and what they cover
- Which faults you attend free and which you bill
- Cleaning rates for plants outside a contract
- Who is the first contact for a complaint
Frequently asked questions
Can reminders go to the customer?
Yes. A WhatsApp or SMS reminder can be sent before a scheduled visit, with wording you approve.
Can a customer raise a complaint on WhatsApp?
A staff member can log it from the message. Automated chat intake is a separate scoping question.
Does it handle one-time cleaning jobs?
Yes. A cleaning visit can be booked for a plant with no contract and billed on its own.
Can I see which plants have never had a visit?
Yes. A list shows plants with no visit recorded, which the service desk can work through. Cleaning can start there.
