Views for Solar Installer Owners, Crews and Service Teams
A rooftop solar job passes through the survey team, the office, the crew and the service desk. Each person opens the screens for their own part, so a roof is seen from one record.
One job, five roles
Following a job through
An enquiry reaches a surveyor, who records the roof. The office issues a proposal, and once it is accepted a crew is assigned and material is issued. Stages close from the roof. The paperwork clerk follows the DISCOM file while accounts raise stage invoices. After handover the plant moves to the service desk.
Limits on what each role opens
Prices and margins can be hidden from crews. A subcontractor’s team sees only the jobs given to it. Owners can see every branch or office, while a manager’s view can be held to one.
What the client decides
- Which roles exist and who holds them
- Who may see prices, discounts and job margins
- Who may reopen a closed stage or cancel a job
- Which sites or offices a manager can see
- Whether subcontracted crews get their own logins
Frequently asked questions
Do crews need a computer?
No. Crews close stages and upload photos from a phone, and the office sees the change straight away.
Can a surveyor see another surveyor’s leads?
That is a choice made with you. The usual setting is that each surveyor sees assigned visits, and the sales lead sees all.
Can owners see several offices together?
Yes. Owners see jobs, files and money across offices, and each office manager can be limited to their own.
Who changes a role’s access later?
Our team changes access on request. The first settings are agreed during implementation and revised when your team changes.
