Proposals and Quotations for Rooftop Solar Installers
The proposal screen starts from the survey and builds a priced quotation for a rooftop plant. Panels, inverter, structure and extras come from your own price list, and each revision stays on the enquiry.
Building the proposal
Revisions and acceptance
Customers ask for changes. Each version is saved with its date, so the one the customer accepted is the one the installation crew sees. A signed or confirmed proposal turns into a job.
What the client sets up
- Panel, inverter and structure items with the prices you use
- Standard packages for homes and for small businesses
- Warranty and payment wording for the proposal
- Who may change a price or give a discount
What the proposal does not do
The proposal records your pricing. It does not decide the subsidy a customer will receive, and it does not state savings as a promise. Those depend on the scheme and the customer’s tariff, which the client confirms.
Frequently asked questions
Can the price list be updated when supplier rates change?
Yes. Our team updates item prices on request, and proposals already issued keep the prices they were made with.
Does the proposal show expected savings?
Only if you want it to. Any figure is entered or approved by you, because tariffs and usage differ for every customer.
Can a discount need approval?
Yes. Discounts above a limit you set can be held for the owner before the proposal goes out.
What happens to a proposal that is not accepted?
It stays on the enquiry with its status. The sales team can return to it later without writing it again.
