Reports for Solar Installer Owners and Managers

These reports come from the surveys, stages, files, invoices and visits that the team already records. Owners and managers read them to see where jobs, money and service work stand.

The reports

Each report reads the live records, so it changes as entries are made.

Enquiries, surveys and proposals

Counts by stage and by source, together with the proposals that are still waiting for a customer’s answer after the survey was done. The enquiry, survey and proposal modules feed it.

Jobs by installation stage

Roofs at structure, mounting, wiring and commissioning, with the crew assigned to each one and the date the last stage was closed from site. Stage tracking feeds it. Delays show early.

Net-metering and subsidy files pending

Files listed by the office or person holding them, with the days since the last movement and the documents still missing from the customer. File tracking is the source.

Stock and shortfall for open jobs

Panels, inverters and balance-of-system items held in each godown, set against what the open jobs need before the crews leave. Material and serial tracking is the source.

Payments received and due

Invoices raised, receipts recorded and balances by job. Billing is the source. Balances are plain.

Service visits and AMC renewals

Visits due this month, overdue contracts and plants with no visit recorded. Service records feed it.

Warranty dates by supplier and serial

Cover running out soon, and open claims by supplier. It comes from the warranty register.

Who acts on each report

The sales lead works from proposals pending. The site supervisor reads jobs by stage and the shortfall list. The paperwork clerk chases files, and accounts follow balances. The service desk works from visits due. Each has a clear owner.

What the figures reflect

Reports show only what staff have entered, and nothing more. A stage that was not closed on the phone looks as if it is still open. A report with gaps most often means a step was never entered.

What the reports do not do

  • They do not forecast demand, savings or subsidy amounts.
  • Extra reports can be added where the data is held in the system.
  • Tax and statutory returns remain with your accountant.
  • Which figures an owner wants on a daily screen is decided with you.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are the figures live?

Yes. Reports read the current records, so they change as entries are made. Nothing is refreshed by hand.

Can reports be limited to one office?

Yes. A manager’s view can be held to one office, while owners see every office together.

Can I export a report?

Yes. Reports can be downloaded as a spreadsheet for sharing with an accountant or a partner.

Can a report for our own question be added?

Where the data exists in the system, yes. The new report is scoped and added by our team.
