Study Material and Question Papers for Coaching Centres
A coaching centre builds its own notes, worksheets and question banks over the years. This module keeps them against a course or batch and records what was handed out.
What is held
Material is filed where the faculty member will look for it. That means under the subject and the chapter.
Getting it to students
Some centres hand out printed booklets at the counter against the fee head for material, and the issue is recorded on the student record. Others share a file with the batch and let students download it. A centre may do both, printing the main notes for the year and sharing a worksheet before each weekly test. What a batch has received shows on the batch screen. The choice is the centre’s.
Who uses it
What this module does not do
- It does not write notes or set question papers for the centre
- It does not print booklets, though it records which sets went out
- It does not stop a student sharing a file outside the batch
- Whether material is shared as files or only on paper is the centre’s call
Frequently asked questions
Can a paper be shared without its answer key?
Yes. The key is filed separately and stays with the faculty until the centre chooses to release it.
Does it track printed booklets given to students?
Yes. The issue is recorded against the student with the date, so the counter can see what was already collected.
Can old question papers be searched by chapter?
Yes, where they were filed with the subject and chapter. Material loaded without those details is found by name.
Is there a limit on file size?
Storage and the file types allowed are settled with the centre, since scanned booklets take far more space than worksheets.
