Yoga Class Schedule and Batch Planner
The timetable holds every yoga class by style, hall, teacher and batch time. Students, teachers and the desk all read the same week, so a change shows up for everyone together.
What the timetable holds
Each class is a line on the weekly grid.
Changes and holidays
A teacher falls ill, a festival closes the studio, or a hall is under repair. The change is entered once against the date. Students who had booked that class see the new teacher or the cancellation, and the desk is not left to phone each one.
How the timetable connects to the next step
A class on the grid is what students book and what teachers open to take attendance. The class also decides which teacher’s payout it counts toward. Nothing is typed twice between the timetable, the booking list and the register.
What the studio decides
- Which styles and levels appear on the grid
- The capacity of each hall for each batch
- Which batches run on festival days
- Whether a substitute teacher needs the owner’s approval
- How far ahead the timetable is published to students
Frequently asked questions
Can two batches run at the same time in different halls?
Yes. Each hall has its own capacity and its own teacher, so a studio with two rooms can run two classes in the same hour.
What happens to bookings when a class is cancelled?
The students who booked are shown the cancellation, and their pass sessions are not used. How the studio offers a make-up class is its own decision.
Can the timetable change from month to month?
Yes. A new batch can start on a chosen date while the old one ends, and the earlier weeks keep their records.
Does it plan which teacher should take which class?
No. The studio assigns teachers. The timetable records the choice and shows clashes, such as one teacher placed in two halls at once.
