Memberships and Class Passes for Yoga Studios
A yoga studio sells time, classes or a single visit. Each plan is recorded with its start date, expiry and sessions left, so the desk never has to work a balance out from memory.
The plans a studio can sell
Pauses, extensions and transfers
Students travel, fall ill or have a baby. A membership can be paused for a stated period, and the end date moves by the same number of days. The owner decides who may approve a pause and for how long. A pass can be extended once, if the studio allows it.
How plans connect to classes and billing
Booking checks the plan before it holds a place. Attendance takes the session off the pass. Billing records what was paid, and the renewal list is built from the end dates, so every step reads one plan record.
What the studio sets up
- The name, validity and class count of each plan
- Which batches each plan may be booked into
- Whether unused sessions expire or carry over
- The pause and extension rules
- Whether a plan can be shared or transferred to another student
Frequently asked questions
Can a student hold two plans at once?
Yes. A student with a monthly membership can also buy a workshop pass, and each is recorded and counted on its own.
What happens when a pass expires with sessions left?
The sessions lapse or carry over, depending on the rule the studio has chosen. The desk is shown the balance either way.
Can a family share one pass?
Only if the studio wants that. Sharing, and who may use the sessions, is a rule set for each plan type.
Are plan prices stored in the system?
Yes. The studio enters its own prices and changes them when it likes. GullySystem does not set or suggest them.
