Online and Hybrid Yoga Classes
A yoga studio can mark a class as in the hall, online or both. Online students book like anyone else, and the studio’s own class link goes to those who reserved a place.
How a class is set
Sharing the link
The link is whatever the studio already uses for its video calls, pasted into the class entry. Students who booked see it on their booking. A reminder with the link can go over WhatsApp shortly before the class begins.
Attendance and plans
The teacher marks online students present from the same list as the hall. One online session comes off a pass just as an in-person one does, unless the studio prices them differently, since plans can be limited to in-studio, online or both.
What this module does not do
It stores and shares the class link. It does not host the call, record the session or check who is on the screen. Whether students joining from another city pay a different fee is for the studio to decide.
Frequently asked questions
Does GullySystem run the video call?
No. The class uses the video tool the studio already has. The system only holds the link and shows it to the students who booked.
Can online students be priced differently?
Yes. A plan can be set for online classes only, with its own fee and validity, apart from the in-studio plans.
How does the teacher know who joined?
The teacher marks them from the class list, as she would for the room. A call-in is not checked automatically.
Can one student switch between hall and online?
Yes, if her plan covers both. She books the version she wants for each class, and the capacity of each is counted separately.
