Enquiries and Trial Classes for Yoga Studios
Every enquiry to a yoga studio is logged with its source, the batch the person wants and the trial class booked. The desk can then see who joined, who did not and whom to call.
From enquiry to trial
Sources of enquiry
Studios hear from people through Instagram, word of mouth, a board outside and a Google listing. Recording the source on each enquiry shows which of these brings people who actually join. Effort can then go where it pays.
When a trial becomes a student
Joining converts the enquiry into a student record with no retyping. The trial class is kept in the history. The plan she buys is entered at the same desk visit, and attendance from her next class onward counts against it.
What the studio decides
- Whether the trial class is free or priced
- How many trials one person may take
- How soon after a trial the desk follows up
- Which message wording is used for follow-ups
- Who on the team owns each enquiry
Frequently asked questions
Can enquiries from our website come in automatically?
Yes, where the studio has a website form. How that form connects is confirmed during scoping, and the desk can always add an enquiry by hand.
Is a trial student counted in the class size?
Yes. A trial takes a place like any other booking, so the hall capacity is not exceeded by people who are new.
Can we see how many trials became members?
Yes. The enquiry report shows enquiries, trials taken and joiners, so the studio reads its own conversion without a spreadsheet.
Will it message people who did not join?
Only if the studio chooses to. Messages go out over WhatsApp, as an SMS or by email, and the owner decides the wording and how often.
