GullySystem
Europe · Software for businesses in Ireland

Software for Irish restaurants, hotels, tradespeople and clinics, supported by video from Bengaluru.

Ireland has a very large number of micro firms: cafés, pubs, B&Bs, builders, electricians and one-room clinics. They deal with VAT returns every two months, euro payments by SEPA and a steady stream of online filings. GullySystem makes booking, billing and stock software around that rhythm and supports it remotely from India.

At a glance

Working with a team in India from Ireland.

Irish businesses are often run by one or two people who are also the cook, the electrician or the physio. Paperwork waits until the evening, and the accountant chases receipts for the VAT every two months return.

Our systems keep bookings, jobs, takings and bills together so that the figures are ready for that conversation. Work is delivered remotely by video from India. Your accountant stays in charge of filings, and we match the exports they ask for.

How the work runs

What changes when your business is in Ireland.

Hours, money, language and data are decided with you at the start, not discovered later.

Calls across the time difference

Ireland is behind India, so the Irish morning is the Indian afternoon; most calls happen then, with the Indian evening left for build work. Messages sent in the Irish afternoon are answered the next Irish morning. Mornings suit both sides.

Currency, tax and invoices

Euro is the base currency, with sterling held beside it for firms that trade across the border. VAT rates, invoice fields and credit note layouts are settings per business and are reviewed with your accountant before launch. Both rates are held.

Language and messaging

English is used for almost all business, with Irish language labels added for firms in Gaeltacht areas or public-facing venues that want them. Email, text and WhatsApp carry customer contact. Irish labels are optional.

Data hosting and privacy

Many Irish customers prefer hosting inside the European Union, and we plan that with you at the start. GDPR duties, such as consent and deletion requests, are worked through with your adviser. Privacy comes early.

Business in Ireland

What the software has to fit.

The filing cycles, payment habits and licences a small business there already works around.

VAT returns every two months

Most VAT-registered firms file on a two-month cycle through Revenue’s online service. A system that tags each sale and purchase correctly makes that cycle a short task instead of a weekend. Receipts pile up.

Euro payments and SEPA

Customers pay by card, SEPA transfer or standing order, and suppliers are paid the same way; reconciling a bank statement with open invoices is a regular chore. Statements rarely match.

Hospitality and tourism seasons

Hotels, B&Bs and pubs along the Wild Atlantic Way and in the Dublin area follow summer tourism, festivals and Christmas trade. Staffing, stock and bookings swing sharply from month to month. Peaks are short.

Small trades and safety paperwork

Electricians, plumbers and builders keep safety certificates, site records and subcontractor details; larger contractors ask for tax clearance and insurance papers before a subcontractor starts on site. Paper trails matter.

Clinics and private practice

Physiotherapists and small clinics run private practices with insurer claims and recurring patients; appointment books, receipts and claim forms often live in separate places. Claims lag behind visits.

Common questions

Questions from businesses in Ireland.

Can the system produce VAT-ready reports?

Yes. Sales and purchase lines carry tax codes, and reports are shaped to what your accountant uses to prepare the return. They remain your filing, made through your own Revenue access. Filing stays with you.

Can data stay inside the EU?

We can plan EU hosting with you at the start and write it into the project notes; your adviser then reviews GDPR duties for your business. Hosting is planned early.

When are you available for calls?

Mostly in the Irish morning, which is the Indian afternoon; messages are answered on the next working day in India. Urgent support terms are agreed in the plan. Mornings work best.

How are contracts and payments handled from India?

Contracts are signed electronically and invoices are issued in an agreed currency. Ask your accountant how a foreign supplier invoice is recorded in your books. Ask your accountant.
