Saturday’s cake orders are on three phones, and the kitchen finds out at 7 a.m.
Bakeries run on a billing counter, a cake order notebook, WhatsApp design photos and a kitchen that plans from memory, so orders get missed. GullySystem adapts its bakery management system to your outlets and kitchen, linking orders, production and stock so wastage gets counted. It begins with a free technology audit.
A neighbourhood bakery sells bread, puffs and tea-time cakes over the counter, takes birthday cake orders by phone, and sends Swiggy and Zomato orders out the back door.
Each of those has its own record. The kitchen has to plan tomorrow’s bake from all of them at once.
A customer walks in or messages a photo of a cake they liked. The counter writes the order in a book with flavour, weight, message, delivery time and advance paid, and sends the photo to the chef on WhatsApp.
Every evening, someone decides how many loaves, buns and puffs to bake based on last week’s sales and gut feel. Flour, butter, cream and chocolate are bought from the distributor on credit, and stock is counted at month end, if at all.
Branches send back unsold items, some are marked down, some are thrown away, and nobody records how much. The day’s cash and UPI totals are matched at closing, and GST sales go to the accountant for Tally.
What goes wrong for bakeries without a proper system.
Custom cake orders get missed
The order was written in the book at one outlet, the photo went to a chef who was off that day, and the customer arrives to find nothing.
We bake too much or too little
Without sales by item and day, the kitchen guesses. Puffs sell out by noon while cream rolls go stale.
Wastage is never counted
Returns from outlets and expired items go into the bin without a record, so you cannot see what is losing money.
Raw material runs out mid-bake
Whipping cream or cake boxes finish on a Saturday because nobody tracked stock against production.
What we would build for bakeries.
Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.
Cake order book with design photos
Orders with flavour, weight, message, photo, delivery slot and advance, visible to every outlet and the kitchen.
Daily production plan
Tomorrow’s bake by item and outlet, built from confirmed orders and recent sales.
Counter billing with GST
Fast billing for walk-ins, UPI and card, with item-wise GST and a day-end summary.
Batch, shelf life and wastage
Each batch with its make date and shelf life, and returns or discards logged by item and outlet.
Raw material stock and recipes
Recipes deduct flour, butter and cream as you produce, and low stock is flagged before it runs out.
Ready products that fit bakeries.
Each one is adapted to how your business works before it goes live, and anything your trade needs that it lacks is added then. You are not paying to build the basics again.

Is the bakery management system ready to use?
It is a ready product that we adapt to your menu, outlets and way of taking orders. Some bakeries need little change, others need more, and the audit makes that clear first.
Will our sales go into Tally?
Yes. Day-end sales by GST rate and purchases from distributors can post to Tally, so your accountant keeps working there.
Can it take Swiggy and Zomato orders?
Aggregator orders can be brought into the same order list where the platform or your POS allows it. Where it doesn’t, staff enter them, which still puts everything in one place.
Should a single outlet use a simple billing app instead?
Often yes. If you run one counter and few custom orders, a good POS app is enough. The bakery system pays off with custom cakes, a central kitchen or several outlets.
What happens in the free technology audit?
We look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough to start. You get a report ordered by priority, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.
How much will the software cost?
We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. The audit settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
