Follow-up and Reminders for Ayurveda Clinic Patients
A review date is fixed when each visit and course closes, and reminders reach the patient by WhatsApp or SMS. A list shows patients whose medicines are ending or who have not returned.
Reminders a clinic can set
The follow-up list
Each morning the desk opens a list of patients due for review, refill or a course sitting, and the list can be filtered by vaidya or by therapy. A call is noted against the patient, so the next person sees what was said.
Messages and consent
The clinic writes the reminder text. Messages go through WhatsApp or SMS once a sending account is connected. Whether a patient has agreed to receive messages is recorded at registration, and how that agreement is taken is for the clinic to decide.
What the client decides
Reminders go out only on the rules the clinic sets. The software does not advise a patient on health.
- How many days before a visit the reminder is sent
- The wording of each message, in the language the clinic uses
- Which reminders are sent and which are left to a call
- Who calls patients who miss a review
- Which messaging account sends them
Frequently asked questions
Can reminders go out on WhatsApp?
Yes, once the clinic has a WhatsApp business account connected. The account and message approval are confirmed during scoping.
Can a patient opt out of messages?
Yes. The registration record holds the patient’s choice, and reminders respect it.
Does it remind patients to take their medicine?
No. It reminds them of visits, sittings and refills. Daily dosing advice remains with the vaidya’s prescription.
Can I see who never came back for a review?
Yes. The follow-up list shows patients past their review date, filtered by vaidya or by course.
