Therapy Room and Therapist Scheduling for Ayurveda Clinics
Treatment tables, steam rooms and therapists are booked from one calendar. A sitting takes a room and a therapist for its length, so neither is promised twice.
One calendar for rooms and people
The day view
The therapy wing opens its day as a grid of rooms against time, so the front desk sees free tables and the next sitting due. Therapists see their own list on a phone. A late patient shifts the sittings behind them.
Time between sittings
Cleaning, linen change and oil warming need time after each sitting, so a gap is added to each therapy before the next patient is booked in.
What the client decides
The calendar places sittings by the rules given to it. It does not judge which therapy suits a patient.
- The list of rooms and the therapies each may host
- Therapist shifts, offs and any gender or skill rules
- The gap kept after each kind of therapy
- Whether a patient may ask for a named therapist
- Who may override a booking in the therapy wing
Frequently asked questions
Can a room be blocked for cleaning or repair?
Yes. The desk blocks the room for the period, and no sitting is placed in it.
Can one therapist handle two patients at once?
Only where the clinic allows it for a therapy. By default a therapist holds one sitting at a time.
Does the therapist need the front-desk computer?
No. Therapists see their list and mark sittings done from a phone.
Can several branches share the therapist roster?
Yes, where therapists move between branches. Each branch still sees only its own rooms.
