Student, Parent and Faculty Views
Each person signs in and sees the part of the system that concerns them. Students, faculty, parents, offices and college leadership each get a view built around their own work.
One record, several views
The college keeps one set of records for students, courses, attendance, marks and fees. What changes from person to person is the view. A student sees their own information, and a faculty member sees the assigned classes. An office sees the queue it handles. Access follows the role.

What the college controls
Which people see which information is decided by the institution, including how much a parent sees and which figures leadership reads. Views are set by role during implementation, and a change to a role changes the view of every person who holds it.
Frequently asked questions
Can parents see attendance and marks?
Parents see what the college chooses to share. This is set by role and can be limited to selected information.
Can a faculty member see students outside their classes?
Faculty see the classes and students assigned to them. Wider access is given only where the role allows it.
Does each person need a separate login?
Yes. Each person signs in as themselves, and actions are recorded against that person.
Can the views be changed after launch?
Yes. Views follow roles, so a role can be adjusted after launch without rebuilding the system.
