Before and After Photos for Skin and Aesthetics Clinics
Photos are taken against a session, dated and filed under the patient and the concern. Review visits open with the first photo beside the latest one. Nobody searches staff phones.
How photos are filed
Permission and privacy
Skin photos are personal. The clinic decides what permission is taken from the patient and records it with the consent form. Access can be limited to the doctors and the practitioner who are working on that particular case, and everyone else sees no photos at all.
Using photos outside the record
A photo is not shared outside the clinic unless the clinic decides to, and the patient has agreed. The system does not post to social media. A clinic that wants to use photos in marketing handles that separately.
What this page of the system does not do
It does not measure or grade skin. Lighting and angle differ between visits, so the change is judged in person. Storage limits and retention are set with the clinic.
Frequently asked questions
Can photos be taken from a phone?
Yes. A clinic phone or tablet can upload straight to the patient record, so nothing stays in a personal gallery.
Can the patient see the photos?
The doctor can show them during a visit. Sharing a copy with the patient is the clinic’s decision.
Are old photos from before go-live brought in?
Yes, where they exist in files. Bringing them in is scoped during migration, since volume varies between clinics.
Who can open the photos?
Only the roles the clinic chooses. Many clinics limit them to doctors and the treating therapist.
