Session Packages for Skin and Aesthetics Clinics
A doctor’s treatment plan becomes a package of sessions that the front desk sells. Each completed session comes off the balance, and the patient and the desk can see what is left.
From plan to package
Why the balance matters
Patients remember how many peels they paid for. The record settles it. Sessions left, sessions done and the date of each one are listed under the patient’s name. Someone who changes branch carries the same balance, and the new branch sees every earlier sitting, its date and the practitioner who did it.
Package money in the accounts
A package paid in one month and used over several is work still owed to the patient. The system lists it so the balance is visible. How that amount appears in the accounts is for the clinic’s accountant to decide.
What the clinic decides
- How long a package stays valid and what happens to unused sessions
- Whether a missed session counts as used
- Whether a package can be shared between family members
- Who may change a session count by hand
Frequently asked questions
Can the doctor change the plan midway?
Yes. The change is noted on the plan with the doctor’s name, and the package is adjusted by the front desk.
Can a patient see their own balance?
A reminder message can carry the sessions left. A patient login is outside the usual set-up.
Does a refund remove sessions from the record?
The refund is recorded on the bill and the unused sessions are closed. Who approves a refund is the clinic’s decision.
Can a package cover different procedures?
Yes. A package can list a peel, a facial and a laser sitting, each with its own count.
