Views for Skin Clinic Doctors, Therapists and Front Desk
A skin and aesthetics clinic has doctors, therapists, a front desk and an owner, and each opens a different view. Clinical notes, photos and money are shown only to the roles that need them.
The roles
Why the views differ
A skin record holds health details and photos. That is sensitive. The desk needs a patient’s package balance and phone number, but not necessarily the diagnosis. The therapist needs allergies and the plan, but not the bill. Splitting the screens this way keeps each person to the fields their work calls for.
Phone and desk
Doctors and therapists can open their day on a phone between sessions. The front desk works on a computer. Owners check figures from wherever they are.
What the clinic decides
- Whether therapists may read the doctor’s diagnosis or only the plan
- Whether the front desk sees photos
- Who may change a package balance or give a discount
- Which branch each person works at
Frequently asked questions
Can a doctor see only their own patients?
Yes, where the clinic wants it. Otherwise every doctor sees the full patient list, which suits a small group practice where doctors cover for one another.
Can the owner see clinical notes?
Yes, if the clinic allows it. The owner’s default view is money and stock rather than medical detail, which many owners prefer.
Is there a separate login for each person?
Yes. Each person signs in separately. The record shows who entered or changed an item.
Who changes a role’s access later?
The clinic asks our team, and the change is made on request.
