Parent Updates for Tuition and Coaching Centres
Parents of coaching students want to know about absences, marks and the next instalment. This module sends those updates from the records the centre already keeps.
What goes out
Each message is built from a record, so nobody at the counter types a parent’s details again.
How messages travel
Most centres reach parents on WhatsApp, with text messages and email behind it. Which channel carries which update is chosen with the owner, because an absence note and a fee reminder are not read the same way. The number marked for messages on the student record is the one used. A parent with two children at the centre gets one message per child. Delivery depends on the provider.
What the parent can see
What the client decides
- Which updates go to parents and on which channel
- The wording of each message and the time of day it is sent
- Whether marks go out for every test or only the monthly papers
- Who at the centre may send a notice to a whole batch
Frequently asked questions
Will parents be told the same day a student is absent?
Yes, where the owner wants that. The note is built from the sitting the faculty member marked.
Can messages go only to one batch?
Yes. A notice can be sent to a single batch, a course or every parent at the centre.
Does WhatsApp sending work out of the box?
It needs an approved sender and a provider account. That setup is confirmed during scoping, since it sits with the messaging provider.
Can a parent reply to a message?
Replies land with whoever holds the number used for sending, and how the office handles them is decided with the owner.
