One connected system for site measurements, material, mason crews and stage bills.

Manage masonry enquiries, site measurements, estimates, material orders, delivery checks, mason crews, stage bills and repair call-backs in one system. From the first site visit to the last payment, one job record carries its quantities, material and dues. Foremen record the day’s work from a phone.

  • Your own material, labour and job-type rates, as you estimate them
  • Opening clients, jobs and balances brought across
  • Brick, block and stone price changes handled by GullySystem staff on request

Masonry contractors, bricklaying firms and stone and chimney specialists handle enquiries, estimates, site jobs and repair work in Masonry Contractor Management Software from GullySystem. A job holds measured quantities, material ordered and delivered, masons marked present and stage bills raised. Foremen work from a phone. Restoration photographs and call-backs stay with the structure they concern.

Where it breaks today

What goes wrong before the software.

Enquiries come from many sources

Builders, architects, homeowners and property managers all ring or message in their own way. Without a single list, a site visit is missed or booked twice.

Measurements are copied by hand

The same wall area appears in the estimate, the order and the bill. A single wrong copy changes all three.

Material is not matched to a job

Bricks, blocks, sand and cement go to several sites each week. Nobody can say how much went where or how much was wasted.

Crew pay is worked out late

Masons and labourers are paid by day or by piece. Advances and absences sit in a notebook, and month end takes a day.

Weather and delays are not recorded

A job runs longer because of rain or a late delivery. The reason is lost, and the client disputes the delay.

Retention and dues are unclear

Stage bills, retention and old balances sit with several clients. The owner learns who has not paid when cash is short.

How it runs

How the work flows through it, step by step.

  1. 1

    Enquiry

A request arrives by phone, email or message. It is logged with the client, the site and the kind of work asked for.

  2. 2

    Site visit and estimate

The supervisor measures the walls or the repair area, notes the material and takes photographs. The estimate draws every figure from your rate list.

  3. 3

    Job and crew

An accepted estimate becomes a job. Masons, helpers and any subcontractors are assigned, with a schedule that allows for weather.

  4. 4

    Material and work

Orders go to yards and quarries. Deliveries are checked on arrival, material is issued to the job, and work laid each day is recorded.

  5. 5

    Billing

Measured work becomes a stage bill or a final invoice. The retention a client withholds is tracked, and each receipt is matched to its bill.

  6. 6

    Snags and call-backs

Snags are closed and the handover is recorded. When a repair call comes later, it attaches to the same wall or stack, beside the original work.

Modules

What is inside.

Every module can be switched on, left out or changed to match how your team already works.

Enquiries and site visits

Record the source of each enquiry and the site address, book the visit, and file sketches, measurements and photographs under the client.

Estimates and rate lists

Build estimates by area, volume or count from your own material, labour, scaffolding and waste rates. Revisions are kept, and open estimates stay in one list.

Site jobs and work orders

Run each building, wall or repair as a job with its stages, crew, material and schedule, from first course to final finish.

Material orders and delivery checks

Raise orders to yards and quarries, check deliveries against the order, and record shortages, damage and returns.

Material issue and site store

Record bricks, blocks, stone, sand and cement issued to each job and returned, with reorder levels for items used daily.

Mason crews and attendance

Mark attendance for masons and labourers, assign them to jobs, and work out daily wages, piece-rate pay and advances.

Subcontractors and vendors

Hold stone cutters, scaffold hirers and other subcontractors with agreed rates, work done and balance owed.

Measurements and stage bills

Record work done against each stage as the measurement behind the bill, raise stage and final bills, and track retention held by the client.

Repairs, restoration and call-backs

Log repointing, chimney, retaining wall and restoration work with photographs, mix and stone used, and link later call-backs to the same structure.

Receipts and dues

Record money received by transfer, card, cheque or cash, then read each client’s balance starting from the oldest bill.

Solutions inside

The business modules it is built from.

Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.

  • Lead Management

Each enquiry is logged with its source and address and a visit is scheduled, so builders and homeowners are followed up from one list.

  • Estimate/Quotation Management

Estimates are built from the firm’s own material, labour, scaffolding and waste rates, with each revision kept beside the original figure.

  • Work Order Management

Every wall, building or repair runs as a job with stages, crew, material and schedule, from the first course to the final finish.

  • Purchase Order Management

Orders to yards and quarries are raised against a job, so a short or damaged delivery is caught against a written quantity.

  • Stock Tracking and Alerts

Bricks, blocks, stone, sand and cement are issued to each job and returned, and reorder levels warn the store before a crew stops.

  • Attendance & Time Tracking

Masons and labourers are marked present by site, and daily wages, piece-rate pay and advances are worked out from those entries.

  • Vendor Management

Stone cutters, scaffold hirers and other subcontractors are held with agreed rates, work done and the balance still owed to each.

  • Invoice Management

Stage and final bills come from the work measured, with the measurement kept behind each one and retention held by the client tracked.

Made to fit

Adapted to your business before it goes live.

You are not handed a login and left to it. The product is set up around your records, your people and the tools you already use.

Your rates and material

Brick, block and stone types, mortar mixes, labour rates and quoted job types go in first, priced as you price them now.

Job stages and billing terms

Foundation, walling and finishing stages, plus each client’s stage-bill and retention terms, follow what your contracts say.

Wage rules

Daily wage, piece rate and advance rules for masons and labourers follow how you pay today.

Clients and balances migrated

Starting figures arrive from your register or spreadsheet, so no client is asked to pay a balance twice.

Currency and tax settings

Currency, tax lines and the bill layout follow your country, and each one is walked through with you during the build.

Hosted by GullySystem

GullySystem keeps the hosting, so the office desk and every foreman see one set of job records. Updates to brick, block and stone rates are made by GullySystem staff on request.

Common questions

Questions owners ask before a demo.

Is it for new building, repair work or both?

Both. A new wall runs as a staged job with a crew and a schedule. Repairs are lighter. A repointing or chimney repair is a shorter job with photographs and a call-back record.

Will estimates use our own rates?

Yes. Material, labour, scaffolding and waste rates are entered once, and each estimate picks from them. Revisions are kept, so the earlier figure is not lost.

Can it track material sent to a site?

Yes. Stores issue material against a job. Returns are recorded too. Material cost for a job can be read beside what has been billed.

Does it handle stage bills and retention?

Yes. Work measured against each stage becomes a bill, with the measurement kept behind it. Retention follows what each client’s contract says, and it is set with you.

Can foremen use it from site, and does it work without signal?

Yes, from a phone browser. The foreman opens the day’s job and records who turned up and what was laid. The system needs a connection, so a dead-signal site waits until the phone finds one.

Can we record weather delays?

Yes. Log the delay on the job with its reason. The schedule moves with it. The note stays on the job for any later discussion with the client.

Can we bring in jobs already running?

Yes. Yes. Your job register or spreadsheet is imported, and the office reads through the open jobs and balances before anyone relies on them.

Who owns the data?

You do. Takeoffs, wall inspections and foreman diaries can be exported, in a format agreed when the quotation is drawn up.

What does it cost?

No price is published. Headcount and the modules chosen shape the quotation. Estimators and foremen see a live walkthrough of a brick or block job, from takeoff to mortar batches, before a quotation is written.

Wondering what it costs? Six questions give you a written scope and the buckets any quote should separate.
