Tile Catalogue by Size and Finish
The catalogue holds every series the showroom sells, by brand, size, finish and body type. Counter staff and the godown read the same record when quoting or picking.
What a series record holds
One record per size, under the series the company sells it as.
Searching the catalogue at the counter
A buyer rarely names a series. They ask for a light matt floor tile in a particular size, or a wall tile to sit beside a shade already chosen for the bathroom. The counter searches by size, finish, shade family and rate band, and each result shows the boxes in stock against it. Photographs of laid floors can be attached, so a buyer sees more than one piece screwed to a board.
How the catalogue feeds the rest
What the catalogue does not do
- It does not design a floor layout or work out a laying pattern
- It does not fix your rate; you set the rate against each size
- It does not read new series out of a brand’s own system by itself
- It does not judge which series suits a site; that stays with the buyer and the architect
Frequently asked questions
Can one series carry several sizes?
Yes. Each size has its own record under the series, with its own pieces per box, coverage and rate.
How are display pieces handled?
They are marked as display. The board stays stocked, and a display piece is never promised to a site.
Does it store tile photographs?
Yes. Images attach to a series, so the counter can show a laid floor rather than a single piece.
Who adds a new series?
Your counter or purchase staff can add one. Our team loads a long brand list on request.
