GullySystem
Retail and distribution · Software for tile and sanitaryware showrooms

The customer needs twelve more boxes, and the new lot is a different shade.

Tile and sanitaryware showrooms sell by the box and the square foot, where lot and shade numbers matter as much as the design. GullySystem builds a system that quotes room by room, tracks stock by lot and shade across the showroom, godown and company depot, and follows each delivery to site. The free technology audit begins with your quotation sheets and godown register.

At a glance

A floor tile is not just a design code. Two lots of the same tile can differ in shade and size, and a customer who runs short mid-job will notice.

We build software that remembers lot and shade numbers from the day stock arrives until the last box leaves.

How the work runs today

A family arrives with their architect or contractor, walks the display, and picks tiles for each room and sanitaryware for each bathroom. Your salesperson works out square feet with wastage, converts to boxes, adds EWCs, basins, faucets and fittings, and sends a quotation that is revised three times.

When the order is confirmed, some items are in your godown and some come from the company depot in a week. Tiles are picked by lot and shade, loaded on a tempo and delivered floor by floor.

Breakages are replaced, extra boxes are sent later, and unused boxes come back for a partial refund. The contractor or architect expects a commission once the bill is paid.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for tile and sanitaryware showrooms without a proper system.

Extra boxes came from a different lot

The godown sent whatever was on top, and now two rooms have a visible shade difference.

Quotations are rebuilt for every revision

Change one tile in the master bedroom and the whole Excel has to be recalculated.

Returns and breakages go unrecorded

Boxes come back from site and nobody updates the stock, so the count is always off.

Architect commissions are tracked on paper

Who referred which customer and what share is due gets argued at the end of the job.

What the software does

What we would build for tile and sanitaryware showrooms.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Room-wise quotation

Area per room with wastage, converted to boxes, plus sanitaryware and fittings, revised without starting over.

Stock by lot, shade and size

Every box tagged with design, lot, shade and calibre, and the picker told which lot to send.

Depot and direct orders

Items ordered from the company for a customer, with expected dates and what has arrived.

Site delivery and returns

Delivery challans by trip, breakage replacements, and returned boxes added back to stock.

Architect and contractor commission

Referral linked to each order, commission worked out on paid value, and payout recorded.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 01

    The audit, by call

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 03

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 04

Go-live, in person when it helps

Common questions

Questions tile and sanitaryware showrooms ask before they call.

Can it work alongside Tally?

Yes. Invoices, returns and commissions can go to Tally, while the lot, shade and room-wise detail stays in the showroom system.

Can we show customers a catalogue on a tablet?

Yes. A tablet catalogue with photos, sizes and stock by lot is easy to add once the item master is clean.

Is a general retail billing app enough?

It works for bath accessories and fittings. It struggles with square-foot to box conversion, lot and shade tracking and part returns, which is where tile showrooms usually lose money.

What if our item codes are a mess today?

That is common. Cleaning the item master is usually the first piece of work, and the audit will show how much needs doing.

What happens in the free technology audit?

We look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough to start. You get a report ordered by priority, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. The audit settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
