Tile Showroom Enquiry and Site Records
Every walk-in, call and architect visit is recorded with the site behind it. The counter then knows which rooms were discussed and when to ring back.
What an enquiry record holds
One site, many visits
A tile buyer does not decide in one visit. They come back with a spouse, then with a contractor, then with a revised plan once the slab is cast. Each visit is added to the same site record, so the counter can read what was shown and quoted last time. A site also carries several quotations, because flooring, bathrooms and the kitchen dado get settled at different stages of a build.
Who uses it
What the client decides
- Which enquiry sources and lost reasons appear in the lists
- How many days pass before an unanswered enquiry is rung again
- Whether a site record needs an architect name before it saves
- Who may read the rates quoted on another staff member’s enquiry
Frequently asked questions
Can one site carry more than one quotation?
Yes. Flooring, bathrooms and the kitchen dado are often quoted weeks apart, and all of them sit under the same site.
Does an enquiry have to become a quotation?
No. It can be closed with a reason, and the record stays for an owner to read later.
Can enquiries arrive from a website form?
Only where a connection is built for it. Otherwise the counter types the source in, and we quote automatic capture separately.
What if the buyer gives no area?
The record saves without it. Area goes in at the next visit, once a plan or a measurement sheet arrives.
