Tie each installed system to its serials, contract, approvals and service history.

Solar installers, plant maintenance firms, battery and UPS dealers, electrical contractors and energy management companies leave equipment on a customer’s premises. The software here records each installation with its warranty and contract, the material issued to it, and every visit that follows, so the office can answer a call with the record open.

At a glance

These trades sell and look after electrical equipment that stays on a customer’s premises: roof plants, battery banks, inverters, cable runs and metered sites. The sale or the installation is one event. What follows runs for years, in the form of warranty claims, AMC visits, cleaning rounds, battery replacement and monitoring, and each of those needs the record of what was fitted where.

Each installation is recorded by serial number, site and contract. A battery is sold on a serial and a date code. A module serial has to be tied to a roof, and a plant’s contract sets its response time and cleaning frequency. When the claim comes, the record must be found fast.

Material and approvals run alongside. Electrical contractors reconcile cable by the metre against the BOQ, and solar installers wait weeks on net meter and subsidy files held at an office they do not control. Energy management firms join meter readings to audit findings. Readings come from devices that differ by make. Each link is scoped on its own.

The trades

Software for each kind of energy and utilities business.

Solar installers

A rooftop solar installer sells a survey, a quote in kW and a day of roof work, then waits on feasibility, net metering and the PM Surya Ghar portal. The solar software follows each customer from survey through DISCOM approvals, installation and commissioning, with module and inverter serials recorded against the roof. Cleaning visits and generation complaints stay in the same file.

Solar plant maintenance companies

A solar O&M company looks after rooftop and ground-mounted plants for several owners, each with its own contract, inverter make and monitoring portal. The software built for you holds the plant register, tickets, cleaning and preventive rounds, spares and engineer visits, so the owner’s monthly report comes from one record and not from five portals.

Battery dealers

Battery dealers sell vehicle, inverter and solar batteries to walk-in customers, garages and electricians, and take the old battery in exchange. Billing software covers the invoice, but serial numbers, warranty cards, scrap batteries and garage dues are kept on slips. The system built for you ties these together on one record per battery.

UPS and power backup dealers

UPS, inverter and generator dealers keep customers through batteries, AMCs and service calls, but warranty dates, battery serials and service visits usually sit in registers and WhatsApp. Batteries do not last forever. The system records every installation with its serials and warranty, raises AMC renewals as contracts end, and puts breakdown calls on the right technician’s phone.

Electrical contractors

Electrical contractors price work in points, metres and numbers of DBs, buy copper at rates that move monthly, and send drums to several sites at once. The software follows cable, conduit and switchgear from godown to site and back, and turns measured work into the monthly RA bill. A file for test reports is built around it.

Energy management companies

An energy management company audits a client’s plant or building, fits meters, tracks consumption against a baseline and reports what changed. The IoT monitoring dashboard carries the meter readings, alerts and history. Audit findings, recommendations, baselines and client reports are a custom build alongside it, so each site’s story sits in one place.

What they share

Where these businesses lose time and money.

Serials are not tied to the site

A module, battery or inverter serial is written on a slip or a warranty card. A claim starts with a search.

Renewals lapse unseen

AMC and service dates sit in a diary until the customer calls about a breakdown. The contract has already ended.

Material is not reconciled

Cable, spares and old batteries leave the godown and are not counted back against a job or plant. The cost is lost.

Files wait on approvals nobody tracks

A net meter application, a subsidy claim or a test report sits with an outside office. The customer keeps calling.

Reports are rebuilt by hand

Generation figures, audit findings and meter readings are copied from portals into sheets each month. Errors creep in.

What the software does

What we build across energy and utilities.

Register each installation with its serials

Record every plant, battery bank or system against the customer and site, with serial numbers, installation date and warranty, so a claim starts from the customer’s record.

Hold the contract beside the plant

Keep each plant’s response time, cleaning frequency, AMC dates and renewal next to its tickets, so the engineer knows which terms apply to the call.

Follow the file through each approval

Track applications, documents, inspections and subsidy status against the job, with a note of what was asked for at the stage where the file stopped.

Issue material against a site or plant

Book cable, spares and exchanged batteries to a named site or plant when they leave the store, record returns and offcuts, and show the balance by job.

Schedule rounds and keep proof

Plan cleaning, preventive and service visits by plant, and save the checklist and photographs against each visit so the owner can see what was done.

Collect readings into one history

Bring meter, inverter and logger data into a single history for each site wherever the device allows, and build the monthly report from that history.

Common questions

Questions energy and utilities businesses ask.

Does one product cover every trade in this group?

No. The solar installation product follows rooftop jobs from survey to service, and the monitoring dashboard reads meters and drives. Battery dealers, power backup dealers and plant maintenance firms are built to order around their own records, brands and contracts, sometimes starting from an existing base.

Can it read inverters and meters on its own?

Not by default. Monitoring portals and data loggers differ by make, so each link is scoped per device once the equipment is known. GullySystem does not supply meters, sensors or gateways.

Does it file subsidy or net metering applications?

No. Portal and utility work stays on those portals, under your own login. The software tracks the file, its documents and the stage it has reached.

Will it decide whether a warranty claim is valid?

No. The brand decides that. The system keeps the sale date, the serial and the claim’s status.
