Construction · Software for energy management companies

Join meter readings, audit findings and savings reports into one record for every client site.

An energy management company audits a client’s plant or building, fits meters, tracks consumption against a baseline and reports what changed. The IoT monitoring dashboard carries the meter readings, alerts and history. Audit findings, recommendations, baselines and client reports are a custom build alongside it, so each site’s story sits in one place.

At a glance

Your work begins with an audit and carries on as monitoring. The findings, the baseline and the meter data belong together, yet they usually sit in a report file, a logger export and a sheet.

Readings come from the IoT monitoring dashboard. Audit records, recommendation tracking and client reporting are custom work, designed around how your engineers write up a site.

How the work runs today

An engineer visits the client’s plant or building, notes the connected load, the maximum demand, the power factor and the diesel generator’s run hours, and lists the loads worth metering. Meters are fitted on feeders, chillers, compressors or a whole block, and readings begin to arrive.

The audit report lists recommendations, such as a capacitor bank, a variable frequency drive or a change in the shift pattern. The client acts on some of them, and the company follows each one over the months. Consumption has to be compared with a baseline, adjusted for production or weather.

Each month the client wants a report and an explanation for any jump in the bill. Some contracts are paid on the savings, which makes the baseline a matter of dispute.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for energy management companies without a proper system.

Audit findings stop at the report

Recommendations are listed in a document, and nobody tracks which were done. The next audit repeats them.

The baseline is a spreadsheet tab

Adjustments for production or weather are made by hand. The client questions the figure.

Meter data arrives in many forms

One site has a logger export, another a utility bill and a third a portal. They never sit together.

Reports are rebuilt every month

Each client’s report is assembled from scratch, and the engineer’s time goes into copying.

Faulty meters go unnoticed

A meter stops reporting and the gap is found at month end. The figure is estimated.

What the software does

What we would build for energy management companies.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Client and site register

Hold each client’s sites, utility connections, tariff details, meter list and the contract terms, including whether the fee is fixed or linked to measured savings.

Live meter readings and alerts

Show the current reading per meter, the range it should sit in, and who is alerted when it leaves it. The IoT monitoring dashboard supplies this.

Energy, water and fuel history

Read consumption per machine, line or block, with generator run hours and fuel level, and compare any two periods. The history can be exported as a file for the client’s own analysis.

Audit findings and recommendation tracker

Record each finding with the site, the load, the action proposed and its owner, and show which are open, under way and closed.

Baseline and savings statement

Store the baseline agreed with the client and the adjustments used, and compare it with measured use. The method is settled with you, then written into the system.

Device health and calibration

Flag a meter that stops reporting or sends an impossible value, and remind you when one is due for comparison against a reference instrument.

Client report pack

Assemble the month’s consumption, findings closed and meters needing attention into a report for each client, from the records already held.

Solutions inside

The business modules energy management companies use most.

Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, Tally reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 5

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions energy management companies ask before they call.

Do you supply the meters and gateways?

No. Devices are chosen with you or your vendor and bought in your name. The monitoring screen, the rules and the record are what GullySystem builds.

Does the dashboard do audits and savings reports?

Not on its own. It holds readings, alerts and history. The audit tracker, baseline and client report are custom work added around it, scoped after a talk with your engineers.

Can it read the meters our clients already have?

Usually, where they speak Modbus or a similar protocol. Each make is checked on site first, so a meter that cannot be read is found before anything is promised.

Does it link to Tally for our invoices?

No live link. Invoices stay in the books you keep today. A consumption or fee figure can go to your accountant as an export, which is separate work.

What happens in the free technology audit?

We look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough to start. You get a report ordered by priority, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. The audit settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
