Quote from measured sizes, build only the approved revision, and close each site on a snag list.
Interior firms, kitchen makers, showrooms, glass and window companies, painters, waterproofers and installers sell work that is measured, quoted, fitted and handed over. Measurements become quotes, quotes change on a call, and the factory, the store and the site crew must all work from the latest version. These trades need one file per project, with revisions, materials and approvals on it.
Twelve trades sit here. Some design and build interiors, some fabricate windows, glass and kitchens, and some sell tiles, flooring and furniture from a showroom. Others fit or treat a building: air conditioning, home automation, painting and waterproofing.
The work starts with a tape measure. A room, a window opening, a kitchen wall or a terrace is measured, and the quote follows by square foot, running foot, module or opening. Sizes then go to a factory, a glass processor, a dealer’s godown or a crew. A transposed figure or an old revision is paid for in remade frames, wasted carcasses or an extra trip.
The job closes slowly. Handover waits on a snag list, a ponding test, a commissioning record or a final measurement, and the last payment waits on handover. Warranties and AMCs then run for years, and the proof of what was applied or installed is needed long after the crew has left.
Software for each kind of home improvement and interiors business.
Interior designers
An interior design firm runs on BOQs, vendor orders for plywood and laminate, and carpenters spread across several sites. Every client change moves the budget, and most changes are agreed on WhatsApp. The interior design management system holds the BOQ, materials, site progress and client payments for each project, so you can see where material and margin went.
Learn moreCommercial interior fit-out contractors
A commercial fit-out contractor builds offices, showrooms and shops for companies, on a BOQ and a tight handover date. Work is split across carpentry, electrical, HVAC, flooring and painting teams, each paid on measurement. Our interior design and construction products hold the BOQ, work orders, running bills, materials and site progress for each project. Snagging and handover are added to them as custom work.
Learn moreModular kitchen companies
A modular kitchen is built to millimetres and changed on a phone call. The kitchen software keeps every design revision with its quote, and turns only the approved one into a cutting and hardware list. Site points and the snag list are held through to handover. When the customer picks a different chimney, the change sits on the revision the factory reads.
Learn moreFurniture showrooms
Furniture showrooms sell display pieces, made-to-order sofas and beds, and office furniture for whole floors, with fabric choices, factory orders, delivery and fitting chased by phone. The ready showroom product, adapted to your process, ties the quotation, the factory order, the delivery slot and the balance payment together.
Learn moreWindows and doors companies
A project with sixty windows is sixty small orders, each with its own size, opening type, glass and mesh. Software built for you would follow every opening from the surveyor’s tape to the day it is fixed, and release the cutting list from the final measurement only. The factory, the glass processor and the crew would all work from that sheet.
Learn moreFlooring companies
Flooring is sold by the square foot and bought by the box, and the gap between the two is where margin goes. The software quotes from measured rooms using your own wastage rule, counts stock by shade lot, and follows boxes out to site and back. A year later the showroom can still see which lot a customer’s floor came from.
Learn moreTile and sanitaryware showrooms
Tile and sanitaryware showrooms sell by the box and by the square foot, where the shade lot and the calibre decide as much as the design. Twelve boxes short is a serious problem. The system quotes room by room and holds stock by lot, shade and size across showroom and godown. It tracks what is on order from the company and follows every tempo out to the site.
Learn moreHVAC contractors
An HVAC contractor is paid for the installation and then for years of AMC visits, gas top-ups and breakdown calls, most of them in summer. The HVAC service management software keeps every installed unit by site, serial and tonnage, separates comprehensive contracts from labour-only ones, and logs calls and gas used against the right machine. Contracts are flagged before they end.
Learn moreHome automation companies
A home automation company designs room by room, quotes switches, sensors, controllers and cameras, and depends on wiring being done correctly before the wall is closed. Software built for this by GullySystem would keep each home’s device list, wiring plan and commissioning record, track installation stages, and log AMC visits and support calls. The next engineer could then find the gateway login.
Learn moreWaterproofing contractors
A waterproofing contractor is judged in the rain, often three monsoons after the crew has left. The software records each leak inspection with photos, prices the treatment by system and area, and keeps every guarantee with its area and end date. Surface preparation, primer, coats and the protection screed are logged as they finish. A complaint in June is then checked against what was applied.
Learn morePainting contractors
A painting contractor measures walls and quotes by the square foot. Paint is bought by shade code on the dealer’s credit, and the mestri’s gang is paid by the day. The painting contractor software measures and quotes room by room, tracks tins issued against each site, and works out wages from attendance. Snags close before the final bill. Recording shade codes per wall is custom work added for you.
Learn moreGlass and façade companies
Toughened glass cannot be cut after it leaves the furnace, so a wrong figure on a cutting list means a fresh order and a long wait. GullySystem would build software that tracks every panel from the glass schedule to the processor to its mark on the elevation. Aluminium, ACP and structural silicone would be held against the project, and each RA bill built from measured area.

Practical notes on running the business, not product marketing.
Questions home improvement and interiors businesses ask.
Does the software replace our design or cutting tools?
No. You keep drawing in AutoCAD, SketchUp or your own tool, and cutting optimisation stays with your fabrication software. The project record holds the drawings, versions and approvals around them.
Can one product serve a designer, a showroom and a contractor?
Not on its own. The interior design product fits designers, kitchen makers and fit-out firms, and the tile showroom product fits tile and flooring dealers. Painting, waterproofing, HVAC and furniture have products of their own, while windows, glass and home automation are built to order.
Will quotes and bills reach Tally?
Not built in. Quotes, stage bills and vendor payments stay in the project record, and a file for your accountant is scoped during implementation and priced separately.
Is software worth it for a few small jobs a month?
Often not. A quoting app and a notebook can serve a painter doing a few homes a month, and a shared folder suits a designer with a couple of projects a year. The need begins with several crews on several sites.
