Telecom · Software for internet service providers

Tie every subscriber line to its plan, router, fault history and invoice.

An internet service provider sells a connection, then has to prove it works. Plans, installation visits, routers, fault tickets and invoices usually sit in four separate places, so sales, installers, support and accounts each hold their own version of one line. Here, one record serves all four.

At a glance

A subscriber buys a speed tier, a router and a start date. Behind that purchase sit a survey, an installation visit, an account in the authentication system and a monthly invoice, each handled by a different team.

Subscriber, plan and fault tracking for providers starts from the line. Every router serial, ticket and credit note hangs off one account, so the desk answering a call sees what the installer and accounts saw. Share your requirements first.

How the work runs today

Sales takes an enquiry from a home, a shop or a small office and checks whether a node, a tower or a street cabinet can serve the address. Plan, joining fee and router option are agreed. A survey slot is booked. Installers fix the drop cable, configure the router and note signal readings, then the account is switched on in the authentication server and the first invoice cycle begins.

Support answers calls about slow speeds, dropped links and bills. Field staff replace routers and re-splice drops. The network team posts one outage notice per node. Accounts chases expired prepaid balances and failed card payments, and applies credits when an outage runs long, working from a sheet that support and field staff never see.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for internet service providers without a proper system.

Billing and the access server disagree

A subscriber is switched off for non-payment in one place and still online in another, and plan changes reach the invoice a cycle late. Support cannot tell the caller which list is right, because both were edited by hand on different days.

Routers leave the store untracked

Customer premises equipment goes out on installer vans and returns in cartons from cancelled lines, with serial numbers noted in a book. A missing unit surfaces only at stock-take, long after anyone remembers the street. Costs vanish.

Outage tickets arrive one at a time

When a node fails, subscribers ring separately and each call opens its own ticket. The network team needs an hour to see that all of them share one cabinet. Meanwhile the queue grows.

Installation visits slip between teams

Sales promises a date, and the survey finds a blocked duct. Nobody tells the customer. The job stays open for weeks while the booking fee sits unrefunded and the next enquiry waits behind it in the same list.

Credits for downtime are guessed

After a long outage, accounts hand-picks who gets a credit from the calls it remembers, which leaves quiet subscribers on the same node with nothing. Those who rang twice receive too much.

What the software does

What we would build for internet service providers.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Subscriber accounts and plans

Hold each subscriber with service address, speed tier, contract term, static address option and billing cycle. Plan changes take effect on a stated date and flow into the next invoice, so billing never lags the access list by a cycle.

Coverage check and survey

Check an address against nodes, cabinets and towers before a plan is promised. Book the site survey. The survey’s duct route and measured drop length are saved on the enquiry, so the installer carries the right cable and the customer hears what to expect.

Installation jobs

Each new connection opens a job that lists the drop cable run, the splice or crimp work, the router settings and the signal levels measured on site. The installer closes it from a phone with the customer’s signature.

Router and equipment register

Track each router, fibre terminal and radio by serial number from goods receipt to the subscriber premises. Equipment returns to stock after a cancellation, and the register shows which line holds which unit.

Fault tickets and outage notices

Group tickets under the node or cabinet that failed. One notice reaches every affected line by SMS, email or messaging app, and the whole group closes when the link is restored without anyone touching each ticket.

Recurring billing and collections

Issue monthly and prepaid invoices, record card and bank receipts, and apply outage credits by a stated rule. Overdue accounts are listed by age for a reminder or a suspension, never from memory.

Reseller and agent accounts

Local resellers get their own subscriber lists, wallet balances and commission statements, and each sale is tied to a plan and a start date. Nothing is keyed twice.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, accounting reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 5

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions internet service providers ask before they call.

Does the software replace our authentication and bandwidth server?

No. Your RADIUS or similar server, the one that logs subscribers in, keeps controlling sessions. This system holds the subscriber, plan and payment status, and whether a suspension is pushed to the access server is agreed and reviewed during implementation.

Can one outage notice reach every affected subscriber?

Yes. Faults reported behind one failed node or cabinet are merged into a single outage, and subscribers get one notice by SMS, email or messaging app. A restored link closes the whole group.

We sell through local resellers. Is that covered?

Yes. A reseller sees only the subscribers it signed. It tops up a wallet, then sells plans from that balance and receives a commission statement.

Do we need this, or will a spreadsheet do?

A few hundred lines on one tower can live on a sheet. Several nodes, a van team and prepaid plans make that sheet unreliable, because three people edit it on the same afternoon. Share your plan list and we set it up on your own data.

What happens after I share my requirements?

An engineer reads what you send and replies within one business day. We then look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough. You get a short written summary ordered by priority, with no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. That first review settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
