Water and Environment · Software for aggregate suppliers

Match every tipper load to a ticket, a size and an account.

Aggregate supplier software holds 20 mm stone, crusher dust, washed sand and sub-base fill with haul-zone rates, weighbridge tickets, tipper trips, hired hauliers, stockpile bays, sieve results and contractor credit. Each load leaves with one ticket and lands on one invoice. Your team supplies the rate cards, the sieve test formats and the weighbridge indicator model.

At a glance

An aggregate supplier sells weight and distance. Twenty millimetre stone, quarry dust, washed river sand and wet mix macadam are priced by the tonne or the cubic metre, and the delivered rate shifts with every extra kilometre of haul. One wrong site address burns a day of tipper time.

Most paperwork happens at the weighbridge. The ticket records vehicle number, product, gross weight, tare weight and consignee, and the driver carries it to the pour, where a foreman argues about the load weeks later. The ticket is the only proof.

How the work runs today

The morning starts with calls from site engineers and batching plant foremen who want a quantity by a certain hour. The dispatcher checks what is stacked in each bay, which tippers are idle and which hired trucks wait outside the gate. Meanwhile every quotation goes out as a delivered rate per tonne for that site’s haul zone.

Wheel loaders fill the tippers from the stockpile. Each truck crosses the weighbridge empty, then loaded, and a ticket prints with the net tonnage. The driver leaves with a delivery note that the site clerk signs on arrival, and back at the crusher yard the truck’s trips are chalked on a whiteboard that rain smudges.

At month end, hired haulier owners arrive with trip counts in pocket diaries and contractors ask for statements. The accounts clerk matches tickets to invoices by hand, with a highlighter and a calculator. Gaps appear. Nobody can say where.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for aggregate suppliers without a proper system.

Tickets and invoices drift apart

A weighbridge printout is typed into a bill the next morning, sometimes twice and sometimes never. The contractor then receives a statement that disagrees with his own site register and his running bill of quantities. Disputes follow.

Delivered rates are quoted from memory

The rate to a far site depends on haul distance, product and quantity. Two dispatchers quote differently for the same pour, and the thin margin on a long lead is discovered only when the diesel bill and the driver’s allowance arrive.

Stockpiles run short without warning

Ten millimetre chips and crusher dust move fast in a concreting season, and nobody reads the bay level until a loader scrapes bare floor. Orders promised for the next morning then slip. Contractors phone elsewhere.

Hired haulier trips are argued

An owner counts trips in his own pocket diary while the gate keeps another count. Settlement depends on whose notebook is believed, and the arrangement sours over a few missing loads.

Grading test results are filed apart

Sieve analysis, silt content and moisture readings are done on a grab sample from the stockpile face, then dropped into a folder. A site engineer asks for the test behind one delivered load. Finding it takes a morning.

What the software does

What we would build for aggregate suppliers.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Product and size list

Hold each aggregate, sand and fill product with its nominal size, unit of sale and source, whether from your own jaw crusher or bought from another quarry.

Zone price lists and quotations

Keep delivered rates per product and haul zone, then build a quotation for a site address in a few lines. Every revision to a quote is stored.

Weighbridge tickets

Capture vehicle number, product, gross and tare weight, customer and site on one ticket, and print the delivery note the driver hands over.

Stockpile bins

Track tonnes received into, and dispatched from, each bay. A low-stock flag appears for any size that cannot cover tomorrow’s bookings, so the crusher shift is planned before the bay empties.

Tipper trips and hired hauliers

Assign each load to a tipper and driver, count trips for owned and hired trucks, and print a settlement an owner can check against the gate tickets.

Customer accounts and credit

Set a credit ceiling for each contractor, raise tax invoices from tickets, send monthly statements, and list overdue accounts with the oldest invoice first.

Grading test records

Attach sieve analysis, silt and moisture readings to a stockpile or a batch, so the test behind a delivered load opens in one click.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, accounting reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

Common questions

Questions aggregate suppliers ask before they call.

Can a weighbridge ticket become an invoice without retyping?

Yes. A ticket carries the customer, product and net tonnage, and invoices are raised from a batch of tickets for the period. Your indicator model and its serial output are checked at the first workshop, because the ticket layout depends on what the weighbridge sends.

We buy stone in and also crush our own. Is that handled?

Yes. A product is marked bought-in or produced, and the cost per tonne follows from that mark. A purchase from another quarry arrives as a receipt into the same bay, beside your own crushed output.

How do we settle with owners of hired tippers?

Trips are counted from the gate tickets that name each hired vehicle. The settlement lists every ticket, the tonnes and the agreed rate per tonne per kilometre band, so an owner reads exactly the figures your office reads.

Can contractors see their own deliveries?

Yes, if you choose to give them a login. A contractor sees his tickets, his invoices and his payments, and nothing about any other customer.

What happens after I share my requirements?

An engineer reads what you send and replies within one business day. We then look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough. You get a short written summary ordered by priority, with no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. That first review settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
