Field Services · Software for laundry delivery services

Book the pickup, tag every bag, track the wash and confirm the drop.

Bags travel from doorstep to wash line and back. The software holds bookings, rider rounds, seal numbers, garment tags, partner batches, plans and receipts, so a duvet cover or a silk blouse can be traced through every hand it passes.

At a glance

The business sells a promise. Clothes leave on one evening and come back pressed on another. Orders arrive by app, phone call or chat message, and a rider collects the bag from a front door, an apartment lobby or a building reception desk.

The software joins the booking, the rider, the finishing line and the drop. Dispatcher, tagging desk, plant coordinator and support agent all read one bag at one stage, which ends the ritual of ringing around to learn where a shirt went.

How the work runs today

Customers choose a collection slot and add notes such as dry clean only, light starch or fold instead of hanger. Riders run a morning and an evening round, message on arrival and seal the bag with a numbered cable tie. At the hub the tagging desk cuts the seal, counts garments against the booking, photographs stains, missing buttons and frayed hems, and prints a tag for each piece. Items split between the own wash line and partner laundries.

Partner batches leave with a list. They return checked against it. Once finished bags are packed on hangers or folded into sleeves, each gets a delivery slot, and the customer is alerted as the rider nears the lobby. A one-time code or a doorstep photo confirms the handover. Subscribers hold monthly bag and piece limits, and the support desk resolves missing-sock and re-wash tickets from that same record, with the tag photographs open beside the complaint.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for laundry delivery services without a proper system.

Counts at the door and the hub disagree

The rider writes twelve items. The hub counts eleven, the customer says fourteen, and without a tag printed at pickup every complaint turns into one person’s word against another’s, settled by whoever sounds most upset.

Slots promise more than riders can carry

Bookings fill a window without regard to how many riders are on shift, so evening pickups pile up behind each other and the next morning’s deliveries slip while the backlog is cleared.

Partner laundries return incomplete batches

A batch leaves as a sheet pasted into a message. It comes back with a different count, and no record shows which bag dropped the pillowcase, which partner pressed the wrong collar or who signed for the van.

Subscription limits live in a spreadsheet

A plan allows eight pickups and thirty pieces a month. Someone totals both on paper, so unused allowance and surprise extra bags become an argument at the doorstep with a rider who cannot settle it.

Complaints have no home

Complaints scatter. A stain, a missing sock or a late drop arrives by call, chat and app review, and the agent phones the dispatcher, the tagging desk and the rider before sending one reply.

What the software does

What we would build for laundry delivery services.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Pickup booking and slots

Bookings arrive by app, web page, call or chat. Each slot is capped by riders on shift, while gate codes, lift access and fabric care notes stay on the customer card.

Rider rounds and handover codes

Build collection and delivery rounds per rider. Show the route on a phone, and capture a one-time code or a photo at each door, so a handover stands as proof.

Bag tagging and item count

Print a tag for each bag and each piece at the hub. Record the count and condition, then attach photographs of stains, loose buttons or torn seams so the order carries its own evidence.

Partner laundry batches

Every batch leaves for a partner laundry with an itemised list and a return date. Pieces coming back are ticked off that list before rebagging. A shortfall shows at once.

Plans, wallet and invoices

Run monthly plans with bag and piece limits, hold prepaid wallet balances, and issue a receipt or invoice for each order, including extra bags beyond the plan allowance.

Complaints and re-do tickets

Log a missing item, a stain or a late drop as a ticket tied to the tagged bag. Hub photographs sit beside it, so the agent answers from evidence and not from memory.

Common questions

Questions laundry delivery services ask before they call.

Can customers book from their phone?

Yes. A booking page or app link lets them choose a slot and add wash notes such as delicate cycle or no tumble drying. Staff can also key a booking taken by phone.

Can we run our own wash line and partner laundries together?

Yes. Each item is marked as washed in-house or sent out. Partner returns are matched against the batch list, and any shortfall is shown before the bag is rebagged for delivery to the customer.

How does a rider prove the drop?

The rider enters a one-time code from the customer, or takes a photo at the door. Either is saved with the order, and the support desk opens it whenever a drop is disputed.

Can existing subscribers be carried over?

Yes. Your spreadsheet of subscriber plans, remaining pickups and orders in process is imported, so riders see current balances at the doorstep. Before the first live pickup, our support staff sit with you and check each balance against your own sheet.

What happens after I share my requirements?

An engineer reads what you send and replies within one business day. We then look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough. You get a short written summary ordered by priority, with no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. That first review settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
