Manufacturing · Software for cleaning product manufacturers

Record every mixing batch, its pH and viscosity, and the bottles filled from it.

A cleaning product plant blends floor cleaners, dishwash liquids, toilet cleaners, disinfectants and detergent powders from bulk chemicals, then fills them into bottles, pouches and drums. The cleaning product manufacturing software holds formulas, batch cards, pH and viscosity readings, filling runs and pack stock. A complaint on a bottle traces to the tank it came from.

At a glance

Cleaning products are simple to describe and fussy to repeat. A floor cleaner that comes out thin one week and thick the next draws returns from every shop that stocks it. The cause is usually a water adjustment or a perfume dose that nobody wrote down. Returns hurt.

Cleaning product manufacturer software keeps the formula, the batch card and the filling record in one chain. The blending crew, the laboratory, the store and the filling line all read from the same batch number, so a question about one tank has one answer. Simple. Tell us which tank gives you the most trouble.

How the work runs today

Raw materials arrive in drums, carboys and bags. They include surfactants, acids, alkalis, solvents, thickeners, colours, preservatives and perfumes. The store books each lot by weight and expiry. A batch card lists every ingredient with its quantity per tank, the order of addition and the mixing time, so the operator never works from memory. The blending operator weighs, adds and stirs for the set mixing time. The laboratory then checks pH, viscosity, density and appearance on a drawn sample before the tank is released to filling.

On the filling line, bottles are rinsed, filled, capped, coded and labelled, with the date and batch code printed by an inkjet that the operator checks at every start. Cartons are counted. Powders are blended in ribbon mixers and packed in pouches or bags by weight. Samples are retained. Each batch leaves one behind, for a stated period. Finished stock goes out to distributors, institutional buyers, hospitals, hotels and retail chains, each delivery note carrying the batch code so that the next complaint can be answered in minutes.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for cleaning product manufacturers without a proper system.

Water is added by eye

A batch is thickened or thinned at the tank, and the adjustment is never written on the card. The next batch comes out different. The laboratory cannot explain why. Nobody can check what was added.

Raw material lots are mixed in the store

Two lots of the same surfactant sit side by side on the rack, delivered a month apart and with different active strengths printed on their drum labels. The operator takes whichever drum is open. The card does not name the lot.

Expired stock is used

Perfumes, preservatives and thickeners carry expiry dates. Nothing warns the store when a drum is close to the date. The finished product shows it first, as a changed smell or a layer of separation that a customer notices weeks after delivery.

Filling losses are never reconciled

A tank holds a set volume, and the bottles filled should match it. Spillage, line purging and rejected bottles are not subtracted. Yield per batch is a guess.

A complaint cannot be tied to one tank

A shopkeeper brings back a leaking bottle with a smudged code. The plant cannot say which batch filled it, or who else was sent bottles from that tank.

What the software does

What we would build for cleaning product manufacturers.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Formula and batch card master

Hold each product’s ingredients, quantities per tank, order of addition, mixing time and the laboratory limits for pH, viscosity and density.

Raw material lots

Receive surfactants, acids, solvents, colours and perfumes by lot with expiry, and issue them to batches by weight.

Batch records and laboratory results

Capture actual quantities used, adjustments made and the laboratory readings for each tank before it is released.

Filling line records

Record bottles, pouches or drums filled from each batch, with rejects, purge loss and the carton count.

Packing material stock

Keep bottles, caps, pumps, labels and cartons by size and supplier, issued to filling runs by product.

Retained samples

Log retained sample bottles from each batch, where they are kept and when they may be discarded.

Distributor dispatch and recalls

Dispatch with the batch code on the delivery note, and list every customer who received a batch if it has to be recalled.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, accounting reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 5

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions cleaning product manufacturers ask before they call.

Can we lock a formula so operators follow it?

Yes. The batch card lists each ingredient with its quantity. Any change made at the tank is recorded as an adjustment, with the person and the reason.

Does it handle both liquids and powders?

Yes. Liquid batches are measured in tank volumes and powders in blender loads. Each product sets its own unit, so both share one register.

Can a recall be traced to specific customers?

Yes. Dispatches carry the batch code, so one search lists the distributors and institutions that received it, with quantity and date.

How is the price for a cleaning plant decided?

Tanks, filling lines and logins set the cost. A demo on one of your real formulations comes first, and the quote is put in writing afterwards.

What happens after I share my requirements?

An engineer reads what you send and replies within one business day. We then look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough. You get a short written summary ordered by priority, with no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. That first review settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
