Manufacturing · Software for electric motor manufacturers

Link every stator, rotor and bearing lot to the motor that carries its serial.

Electric motor works build to a frame size, a rating and a winding. The software plans stator and rotor batches, tracks wire, lamination and bearing lots, and records bench tests for each motor. Every motor ships with a nameplate, a test certificate and a warranty record that trace back to what built it.

At a glance

A motor order names a frame size, kilowatt rating, pole count, voltage, enclosure protection, mounting and paint. The list is long. Catalogue motors are made in batches. Special orders carry a non-standard shaft, flange or winding. You plan stator laminations, copper wire, rotor bars or castings, shafts, bearings and fan covers against both. A change of one bearing make can touch two hundred open orders. Plans shift.

Stators are wound, inserted and varnish-treated. Rotors are cast or fabricated, machined on the shaft and balanced. Each motor is assembled, run for no-load and load readings, painted and given a nameplate. Efficiency and temperature rise matter to buyers. Some ask for a witnessed test. Distributors want a delivery date, and service engineers want a serial that traces back to the winding, the rotor casting and the bearing make fitted at the factory.

How the work runs today

The winding supervisor asks how much 0.8 mm enamelled wire is left, and the store answers with a number from last week. The rotor shop has a cast batch with a porosity flag nobody wrote down. Two motors sit painted but have no nameplate. The rating changed.

The sales desk is on the phone with a distributor who needs five motors by Friday. Which frame is free? Nobody knows without walking the shop and counting what stands on the pallets by the paint booth.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for electric motor manufacturers without a proper system.

Frame sizes multiply the variants

One catalogue covers many frame sizes, pole counts, voltages and mountings. Spreadsheets cannot hold the full list of parts for each variant. Special orders are priced from partly remembered sheets.

Winding wire and varnish are booked loosely

Enamelled copper wire, slot insulation and impregnating varnish are drawn from open stock. A wrong gauge shows only when the motor draws too much current on test. The stator is then stripped, rewound and varnished a second time, with the first batch of wire lost.

Rotor castings and balancing have no lot trace

Cast aluminium rotors, shafts and fans arrive from different pours and suppliers, each with its own paperwork if any. A vibration complaint cannot be tied to a batch, so the fault is chased across everything.

No-load and load readings stay on the test bench

The bench operator pencils current, speed, power and temperature rise onto a sheet. The certificate is typed from it later. The serial may not match.

Distributors wait for a date

Standard motors are meant to be made to stock, yet stock by frame and voltage is counted by walking the floor. Distributors ask. Sales guesses. Orders go to a competitor who answered faster.

What the software does

What we would build for electric motor manufacturers.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Motor catalogue and variants

Hold frame sizes, ratings, poles, voltages and mountings, each variant carrying its own parts list so that a catalogue order or a special request starts from stored data.

Stator and rotor production

Plan winding, insertion, impregnation, casting, machining and balancing against open orders, so the varnish ovens and the balancing machine are loaded across batches rather than by shout.

Wire, lamination and bearing stock

Book in copper wire, lamination stacks, shafts and bearings by lot, issue them to batches, and keep each lot number against every motor that consumed it.

Test bench records

Enter no-load, load and temperature rise readings per motor and print the certificate.

Nameplates and serials

Assign serials and print plate data from the motor record.

Finished stock and dispatch

Check finished motors by frame and rating, crate them, and print the dispatch paperwork.

Warranty and rewind returns

Log returned motors against their serial and the lots that built them.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, accounting reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 5

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions electric motor manufacturers ask before they call.

Can it hold a different parts list for each frame and pole count?

Yes. Every variant keeps its own list of stack, wire, shaft, bearing and cover parts. A special order starts from the nearest standard motor and records only what differs.

Does a motor serial connect to its winding batch?

Yes. The motor record names the stator batch, wire lot, rotor casting lot and bearing make. A vibration or overheating complaint is then traced to the batch that built the motor, rather than to every motor the works made in the same month.

How are test certificates produced?

Readings entered at the bench print as a certificate for that serial. Certificate layouts and the acceptance band for each rating follow your test procedure.

Can a distributor see stock?

Your own sales team sees stock by frame, rating and voltage. Whether a distributor view is added is settled in a written proposal, after a demonstration built around your own frames and voltages.

What happens after I share my requirements?

An engineer reads what you send and replies within one business day. We then look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough. You get a short written summary ordered by priority, with no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. That first review settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
