Manufacturing · Software for industrial cleaning chemical manufacturers

Record every cleaner, concentration and pack from the mixing vessel to the customer’s floor.

Industrial cleaning chemical makers blend degreasers, descalers, alkaline washes and sanitisers, then pack them for factories, kitchens, workshops and cleaning contractors. The software keeps concentrates, dilution ratios, batches and private-label packs in one record. Sample trials and repeat orders sit beside the stock.

At a glance

Industrial cleaning chemicals look simple until a customer asks for the same degreaser at a different strength, in a different pack, under their own label. Products differ by pH, foam level, surfactant load and dilution ratio. Alter any one and the result is a different product, needing a fresh label, new safety wording, a separate price line and a stock code of its own.

This software treats each of those as a record. Concentrates, ready-to-use grades and private-label variants share one formulation base, and every batch notes what was charged and what was filled. Sales staff quote from real stock and real recipes. The factory makes what was sold.

How the work runs today

Mixing starts with water, then surfactants, builders, solvents and caustic or acid, charged by weight in a stirred vessel. Operators check pH, density and appearance, add colour or fragrance, and pass the batch through a filter before filling begins on whichever line is free that shift. Jerrycans, drums, IBCs and spray bottles are filled on different lines, and each takes its own label.

Sales teams run customer trials. A sample is sent to a workshop or a kitchen. The customer reports back, and the strength is adjusted. This repeats until the foam level, the smell and the rinse all suit the person doing the washing every day. Repeat orders come from cleaning contractors, food plants, garages and vehicle-wash sites, each of which buys a slightly different mix of products in a slightly different size. Some buy a concentrate and dilute on site. Some want a ready-to-use bottle with their name on it. Both need a record. Neither has one.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for industrial cleaning chemical manufacturers without a proper system.

Strength is adjusted during a trial and forgotten

A customer likes the degreaser at a slightly lower caustic level. The change is made in a small trial batch, nobody writes it down, and the full production batch that follows quietly reverts to the old figure. The customer expected the new one. Complaints follow.

Concentrate and ready-to-use stock are mixed up

The same cleaner exists at several dilutions. Labels differ by one line of text. The wrong pack is invoiced, and the customer pays for a strength that they did not order.

Private labels multiply

Each contractor wants its own name and colour. Label files and pack sizes pile up and nobody can list them.

Foam and pH checks are oral

The operator tells the supervisor the batch looks fine. Nothing is written down against that batch.

Customer trials are not followed up

Samples leave without a record of who tried them or what the feedback was. The sale depends on whoever remembers.

What the software does

What we would build for industrial cleaning chemical manufacturers.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Formulations and variants

Hold a base formulation with its concentrate, ready-to-use and private-label variants, each with dilution ratio and pack options.

Mixing batch records

Post charges by weight, pH, density and appearance for each vessel, with release recorded by a named person.

Pack sizes and label sets

Keep each pack, drum or bottle with its own label file and customer variant, so the right text goes on the right container.

Customer trials

Log each sample sent, the application and the feedback. A trial that works becomes a quotation in one step.

Contractor accounts

Hold contractor accounts, repeat orders and dilution guidance, with standing orders and balances by customer.

Stock by strength

Show finished stock as concentrate, diluted and packed, separately, so no one invoices from the wrong pile.

Common questions

Questions industrial cleaning chemical manufacturers ask before they call.

Can a trial batch become a normal product?

Yes. The trial formulation is saved as a variant, tied to the customer that tested it, and promoted to a standard grade once it has been approved.

Does it handle private-label packs?

Yes. Each customer’s label, pack size and fill volume is its own record, linked to the base formulation.

Can it show dilution guidance on a delivery note?

Yes. The dilution ratio is held on the product record and can be printed on the note and the label if your team wants it.

Do we need this if we only repack bought-in cleaner?

Possibly not. Repackers who buy ready cleaner may only need the pack and customer records. The mixing records can stay switched off.

What happens after I share my requirements?

An engineer reads what you send and replies within one business day. We then look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough. You get a short written summary ordered by priority, with no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. That first review settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
