Manufacturing · Software for aerospace and aviation manufacturers

Keep every part, drawing revision, inspection and certificate on one record.

Aerospace and aviation manufacturers make machined parts, assemblies, fasteners, interiors and ground equipment against drawings and customer specifications. The software links each order to its material certificates, routing, inspections and shipping papers. Any part traces back to its bar, its machine and its operator, with the quality record held next to the job.

At a glance

A part for an aircraft is never only a part. It is a drawing at a named revision, a heat of material with a certificate, a set of operations, an inspection record and a certificate of conformance that travels with the shipment.

Manufacturing software for aerospace shops keeps those items together. Nothing is rebuilt later. Planners, machinists, inspectors and the quality manager work from one job record, so a question about one serial number is answered from the system. Nobody searches through folders.

How the work runs today

A buyer sends a purchase order with a drawing, a revision letter, a specification and a list of flow-down clauses. The estimator prices the part from material, machine hours, special processes and inspection. Once the order is accepted, the planner builds a routing: cutting, machining, deburring, heat treatment, plating or coating, non-destructive testing, final inspection and packing. Some steps happen at approved outside vendors. The part leaves the building and must come back with its paperwork.

On the floor, each operator books time against an operation and records what was made. The inspector checks dimensions against the drawing, notes first article results and raises a nonconformance report when something is out of limits. Stores holds material by heat or lot number. Nothing moves without a record. The quality manager reviews the file before shipment, signs the certificate and releases the order. Calibration dates for gauges and machine tools are watched in the background, because an expired gauge puts every reading in doubt.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for aerospace and aviation manufacturers without a proper system.

Revisions live in several places

The drawing on the shop floor, the one in the quote and the one in the customer’s latest email can differ by a letter. Nobody notices until an inspector measures against the wrong one.

Traceability is rebuilt after the fact

Material certificates sit in a folder, machine logs sit on the machine and inspection sheets sit on paper. Joining them for a customer query takes a day of searching.

Outside processes lose track of the part

Parts sent for heat treatment, plating or testing return with a certificate that may or may not match the challan. The status of each lot is held in someone’s head.

Nonconformances are closed on paper

A rejection is noted, a corrective action is promised and the follow-up is left to memory. The same cause returns on the next order.

Gauges and tooling fall out of date

Calibration due dates sit in a spreadsheet that one person updates. A job is inspected with an instrument that was due last month.

What the software does

What we would build for aerospace and aviation manufacturers.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Quotation from drawing and specification

Price a part from material, machine hours, special processes and inspection, and keep the quote linked to the drawing revision it was based on.

Orders, flow-downs and delivery dates

Hold each customer order with its revision, quantity, required certificates and ship date, so planners and the quality team read the same requirements.

Routing, work orders and scheduling

Build a routing for each part number, release work orders by operation, and see which machine and operator carries each step.

Material, heat and lot traceability

Receive bar, plate and forgings against their certificates, issue them to jobs by heat or lot, and trace any finished serial number back to its source.

Inspection, first article and nonconformance

Record first article results, in-process and final checks, raise nonconformance reports and track each corrective action to closure.

Outside processing and special processes

Send parts to approved vendors for heat treatment, plating or testing, then match the returning certificate to the lot before it moves on.

Gauge calibration and shipping records

Track instrument calibration due dates, and assemble the certificate of conformance, packing list and invoice for each shipment from the job file.

Solutions inside

The business modules aerospace and aviation manufacturers use most.

Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, Tally reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 5

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions aerospace and aviation manufacturers ask before they call.

Can every part be traced back to its material?

Yes. Material is received against its certificate and issued to a job by heat or lot number. A finished serial number then links back to that source, the operations performed and the inspections signed.

Does it replace our quality management system?

No. It holds the records your system already asks for, such as inspections, nonconformances and certificates. Which procedures apply and how they are audited is reviewed with your quality manager during implementation.

Can we run parts through outside vendors?

Yes. A lot sent for heat treatment, plating or testing is recorded when it leaves and when it returns. The vendor’s certificate is attached to that lot before the next operation can start.

Do small aerospace shops need this?

Not always. A shop making a few parts a month for one customer may manage with a disciplined file system. Several customers, outside processes and serialised parts are where one shared record starts to pay for itself.

What happens in the free technology audit?

We look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough to start. You get a report ordered by priority, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. The audit settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
