Manufacturing · Software for construction chemical manufacturers

Tie every drum, pail and bag to its formula, QC release and expiry.

A construction chemical plant blends concrete admixtures, bitumen and acrylic waterproofing coats, tile adhesives, epoxy grouts, polyurethane sealants and curing compounds, then fills drums, pails and bags. The software ties each batch to its formula, raw material lots, QC test and shelf life. A site complaint traces to the drum.

At a glance

A pail of waterproofing coat or a drum of superplasticiser performs only as well as the batch behind it. When a contractor reports a slow set or a weak bond, the plant must find the batch, the lots and the result at once.

Production tracking for these plants starts with the formula and ends with the label. Liquids are blended in reactors or mixing tanks, powders in ribbon or planetary blenders. Sign-off precedes filling, and expiry dates travel with the pack.

How the work runs today

The planner reads orders and stock, then raises batches by product and size. The store issues polycarboxylate, cement, silica sand, surfactant and defoamer against the formula, and the operator charges the mixer in the order the recipe sets. The chemist draws a sample and checks viscosity, solids content, pH, initial setting time or flow table spread, depending on the product.

Approved batches go to the filling lines for drums, pails, cartridges or bags, and each pack is labelled with batch and expiry, while datasheets and safety sheets travel with the order. Dealers order by pack size. Returns of damaged or expired stock are logged against the batch.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for construction chemical manufacturers without a proper system.

Formulas are copied and edited by hand

A small change to a polymer dose or filler grade is pencilled on a loose sheet. The version in the reactor and the version in the file are no longer the same.

Raw material lots are not linked to batches

Polymer emulsion, cement, additive and solvent arrive in lots with different test results. When a coat fails on a wall, nobody can say which emulsion lot went into that pail.

Quality checks sit on lab sheets

Viscosity by Brookfield, pH, solids and setting time are written in a notebook. Filling sometimes starts before the result is entered.

Expiry is learned at the dealer

Shelf life differs between a sealant cartridge and a bag of grout. Without an expiry on the record, old stock moves last and comes back in bulk.

Technical and safety documents drift

Datasheets are revised, yet the copy sent with an order is whichever sat on the desktop. Buyers hold different versions of the same sheet.

What the software does

What we would build for construction chemical manufacturers.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Formula and version register

Hold each product’s formula with quantities per tonne or per batch, and keep a dated version whenever a polymer, filler or ratio changes. Old versions stay readable.

Raw material lots and stock

Track polymers, cement, fillers, additives and solvents received by lot, with supplier certificates and the lot used in each batch. Drum and tanker receipts are both handled.

Batch and blending record

Record each batch by reactor or blender, charge order, operator and quantity, with deviations noted at the vessel. Rework of an off-spec batch is linked to its parent.

QC release before filling

Enter viscosity, pH, solids and set time for each batch, and block filling until a named analyst has released it. Retained samples are logged to the shelf.

Filling, labels and expiry

Fill drums, pails and bags from released batches, print labels carrying batch and expiry, and count packs filled and lost. Pallet loads are listed.

Dealer orders, returns and documents

Take orders by product and pack size, attach the current datasheet and safety sheet, and log returned or expired stock to its batch. Credit notes follow.

The business modules construction chemical manufacturers use most.

Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, accounting reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 5

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions construction chemical manufacturers ask before they call.

Can it handle both liquid and powder products?

Yes. Liquid products are batched by volume or weight in tanks and reactors, and powders by weight in ribbon blenders. Each product carries its own recipe, tests and pack sizes.

Does it prevent filling before QC release?

It can. Filling is blocked until a named analyst records release for the batch. The lab decides which tests each product needs, and those tests are set in the software.

How is shelf life handled?

Each product has a shelf life in months. The expiry prints on the label, stock is issued earliest-expiry first, and warnings appear before dates pass.

Can we track raw materials from our suppliers?

Yes. Each lot is received with its certificate and test, and the lot is linked to every batch that used it. A supplier problem can therefore be followed through to the pail.

What happens after I share my requirements?

An engineer reads what you send and replies within one business day. We then look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough. You get a short written summary ordered by priority, with no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. That first review settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
