Manufacturing · Software for cabinet manufacturers

Follow each cabinet order from approved drawing to cut list, finish and installation.

Cabinet manufacturers build kitchen, bathroom, wardrobe and office cabinets from panels, solid wood and hardware. The software holds the approved drawing, the cut list, the stock of boards and fittings, and the stage each order has reached. Delivery, installation and any warranty call stay linked to the same job.

At a glance

A cabinet order starts as a drawing and ends in a home or an office, with a long list of panels, edges, hinges, drawer runners and finishes in between. One wrong dimension or one missing box of hardware stops an installation crew at the door.

Production software for cabinet makers keeps the order whole. Designers, the cutting team, finishers, assemblers and installers read the same job, so a change approved by the customer reaches the floor before the panels are cut.

How the work runs today

Orders come from homeowners, designers, builders and dealers. A designer produces drawings and a quotation, and the customer approves finishes and layouts. The approved drawing becomes a cut list of panels, with sizes, grain direction, edge banding and drilling marks, and stores reserves every board the list needs. The planner groups jobs to use boards well and sends them to the saw or the CNC router. Stores issues sheets, edge tape, glue, hinges, runners, handles and fixings against each order. Back panels, shutters and drawer boxes may be made on separate stations.

After cutting, pieces move through edging, drilling, sanding, spraying or lamination, and assembly. A finish may need a sample approved before the batch is sprayed. Quality staff check dimensions, fit and surface before packing. Dispatch loads the cabinets in order of installation, and a crew fits them at the site. Snags found at handover are listed and closed. Accounts raise stage invoices for advance, delivery and completion, and watch what the customer has paid against each milestone, so a late balance shows before the next batch starts.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for cabinet manufacturers without a proper system.

Design revisions never get to the floor

After sign-off, the buyer swaps the shutter finish. Nobody tells the shop. The printed cut list still shows the old board. Nobody notices until assembly.

Board and hardware stock is guessed

Sheets, edge tape and hinges are ordered by feel. A job waits for one missing box of runners while the rest of the order is ready.

Orders are not tracked by stage

Cutting, edging, finishing and assembly are done in different areas. Which orders are late? Nobody can say quickly, or say where they are stuck.

Installation depends on complete kits

A crew arrives at a site and finds a missing panel, handle or filler strip. The visit is wasted. The customer is unhappy.

Costs are known only at the end

Board offcuts, spoiled panels and extra labour are not tied to the order. Margin on each job stays a guess until the books are closed and the month has ended for the accounts team, long after the cabinets are installed.

What the software does

What we would build for cabinet manufacturers.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Quotations and customer approvals

Price a cabinet job from board, hardware, labour and finish rates, and keep the approved drawing and finish sample with the quote.

Cut lists and bills of materials

Turn an approved drawing into panels, edge banding, hardware and fittings, so stores and the saw receive the same list.

Production stages and work orders

Track each order through cutting, edging, drilling, finishing and assembly, and see which station and which team hold it now.

Board, hardware and finish stock

Receive sheets, edge tape, hinges, runners and finishes, issue them to orders and reorder when levels fall below the level you set.

Quality checks and rework

Record dimension, fit and surface checks before packing, and log a rework with its cause so spoilage is tied to the order.

Delivery and installation scheduling

Plan loads and crews by site, tick off each pack against the kit list, and record completion and snags with photographs.

Stage invoices and warranty calls

Raise advance, delivery and completion invoices, post receipts, and log later service calls against the original order.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, Tally reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 5

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions cabinet manufacturers ask before they call.

Will it read a drawing and produce the cut list itself?

Each order holds a list of panel sizes and fittings. Type it in or import it from your design tool. Direct links to a particular design or nesting program are possible as paid integration work.

Can it show which stage each order is in?

Yes. Cutting, edging, drilling, finishing and assembly each have a status. The planner sees late orders and the station that holds them without walking the floor.

Can installation crews use it on site?

Yes. A crew opens its own jobs in a phone browser, checks the kit list, records snags and marks completion. It needs a connection, so entries made without signal are added when it returns.

Do small cabinet shops need this?

Not always. One carpenter with a few orders a month can run on drawings and a notebook. Several orders in the shop at once is a different business altogether, with a team of fitters, a spray area and installers waiting on kits.

What happens in the free technology audit?

We look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough to start. You get a report ordered by priority, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. The audit settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
