Manufacturing · Software for pPE manufacturers

Trace every mask, glove and gown from raw material lot to the buyer’s delivery.

PPE manufacturing software holds each production lot as one record, from the raw material received to the carton shipped. Test results and checks stay with the lot. Distributor, hospital and industrial orders all draw from one stock. Which lot did this box come from? One search answers it.

At a glance

A PPE manufacturer makes masks, gloves, gowns, coveralls, face shields, safety eyewear or protective footwear, often in large lots for distributors and institutional buyers. Buyers ask for lot numbers, test reports and certificates along with the goods.

Those papers usually live in several places, such as a stock register, a quality file kept by one person and the sales team’s email folders. The software keeps them together. A discovery session follows one lot from material receipt to the buyer’s invoice.

How the work runs today

Raw material arrives as rolls of nonwoven fabric, filter media, nitrile or latex compound, elastic, nose wire, lenses or leather. Stores check it at the gate and record the supplier lot. Planning turns confirmed orders into production runs for each line, with a target quantity and a shift. Operators run the machines, quality staff pull samples at set intervals, and a lot is released only when its checks are complete.

Finished goods are packed. Boxes, then cartons, each labelled with the product code and lot. Dispatch follows the buyer’s schedule. Some buyers want test reports with every shipment. Others tender once a year and call off in parts. Returns must be matched to the lot. Otherwise a small fault becomes a large one.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for pPE manufacturers without a proper system.

Lots are not tied to raw material

The supplier lot of a fabric roll or a polymer compound is written on a delivery note. Matching it to a finished carton months later takes a search through paper.

Test records sit apart from the lot

Filtration, seam strength, fit and tensile results sit in a quality file or on a lab sheet that belongs to one person. A buyer who asks for a report waits while someone searches. Slow.

Production plans follow orders by phone

Lines are loaded from whatever the sales team last agreed, without a view of stock, machine hours or the material on hand at the store that day. Changeovers are guessed.

Certificates and expiry dates are scattered

Product certificates, test reports and shelf-life dates are kept as separate documents. A renewal gets noticed only once a buyer asks.

Call-off orders are hard to follow

One large order, delivered in parts. Which part has gone, which is pending and what has been billed sit in three separate lists that nobody reconciles until the buyer asks.

What the software does

What we would build for pPE manufacturers.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Buyer accounts and tender orders

Hold distributors, hospitals and industrial buyers as accounts, with their orders, delivery schedules and price lists.

Product specifications and bills of materials

Define each product with its materials, quantities and packing, so a run draws the right stock.

Production planning by line

Load confirmed orders onto lines and shifts, with material on hand and machine hours shown before the plan is fixed.

Raw material lots and goods receipt

Record material received against each purchase order, with the supplier lot, and check it at the gate before it enters stock.

Lot traceability and quality records

Tie each finished lot to its material lots, its in-process checks and its release, and keep test reports with the lot.

Certificates and documents

Keep product certificates, test reports and shelf-life dates against each product, with a reminder before a document lapses.

Dispatch, call-offs and invoices

Dispatch against the buyer’s schedule, track call-off balances on large orders, and raise tax invoices from what has actually shipped.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, Tally reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 5

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions pPE manufacturers ask before they call.

Can each finished carton be traced to a raw material lot?

Yes. Material lots are recorded at receipt and linked to each production run. A finished lot then shows the materials, checks and release behind it.

Can test reports be kept with the lot they belong to?

Yes. Results from in-process checks and lab tests are saved against the lot, and a report can be sent to a buyer from the same record.

Does it handle large orders delivered in parts?

Yes. A tender or blanket order holds a total quantity, and each dispatch draws it down. The balance still to ship is visible to sales and to the plant.

Does it make a product compliant with a standard?

No. It records the checks, documents and lots your quality system calls for. The standards and certificates your products fall under are something we go through with you while setting up.

What happens in the free technology audit?

We look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough to start. You get a report ordered by priority, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. The audit settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
