Manufacturing · Software for food processing machinery manufacturers

Keep each stainless build, weld record and acceptance test attached to the machine that left your bay.

A planetary mixer, continuous fryer or rotary filler is made from 304 or 316 stainless sheet, tube and bought-in gearmotors, then proved before it is crated. The software ties the mill certificate, weld log and factory acceptance test to each machine serial. Spares orders and commissioning visits then follow the same record. Which hygiene and food-contact rules bind a given machine is for your quality people to say.

At a glance

A food machine is judged on its welds, its finish and the parts that touch the product. Those details are decided in the fabrication bay long before a buyer sees a hopper or a conveyor belt. Crevices matter.

Most builders keep drawings in one place, mill certificates in another and acceptance tests in a folder on the quality engineer’s desk. Two years later a food plant asks which sheet lot made its mixing tank, and nobody can answer quickly. That is the gap.

How the work runs today

An enquiry names a product to be handled: dough, sauce, extruded snacks, curd, minced meat or bottled juice. The sales engineer sizes the machine from batch weight or hourly throughput, and the quotation covers it as a built-to-order unit with options for guarding, a PLC panel and a washdown frame. Orders then go to design. A layout drawing and a parts list leave with a revision letter.

Fabrication cuts and rolls stainless sheet, welds the vessel with TIG, grinds the seams flush and polishes the contact surfaces to a stated roughness. Gearboxes, pumps, load cells and a control panel are bought in. Assembly joins them in a bay, and a factory acceptance test runs the machine on water or a trial product while the customer’s engineer watches. After crating, a commissioning visit sets it up in the plant, and seal kits are ordered for years afterwards. Every part carries a history.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for food processing machinery manufacturers without a proper system.

Sheet certificates are separated from the machine

The stainless grade and heat number arrive on an EN 10204 mill certificate that is filed by purchase order, in a cabinet the fabrication bay never opens during a build. Nobody links it to the tank. The trail ends there.

Weld and finish checks live on paper

The welder’s visual check, the pickling and passivation step and the Ra roughness reading all go onto a bench sheet. The sheet is lost. The buyer’s auditor asks anyway.

Options multiply between quote and build

A customer adds a heating jacket, a second discharge valve or a clean-in-place spray ball by phone. The fabrication drawing is not updated, and the machine ships without it. Nobody notices until site.

Acceptance tests are scattered

The trial run, the dough or sauce used and the buyer’s sign-off are buried in emails passing among the test engineer, sales and the plant manager. A repeat order starts blind.

Spares requests lack a machine history

A plant orders a shaft seal for a mixer built long ago. The sales desk cannot say which gearmotor, seal type or agitator shaft diameter went into it.

What the software does

What we would build for food processing machinery manufacturers.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Hygienic machine quotations

Price a machine by throughput and the product it handles, adding heating jackets, guards, PLC controls and washdown frame as options at the rates your estimator holds. Every revision is kept.

Stainless material and heat records

Record sheet, tube and tri-clamp fitting lots received, with grade and heat number, then issue them to a machine and its parts.

Weld, finish and passivation checks

Log weld inspections, Ra surface readings and pickling steps against each vessel. The fields come from your quality staff at set-up.

Build stages and bought-in parts

Follow a machine from plasma cutting through rolling, welding, polishing and assembly, with gearmotors, variable-speed drives and panels linked to the same serial.

Factory acceptance tests

Hold the test plan, product or water used, readings taken and the customer’s sign-off on one record.

Commissioning and spares

Schedule site start-up, keep the as-built parts list, and quote seal kits from the machine that is actually installed.

Solutions inside

The business modules food processing machinery manufacturers use most.

Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, accounting reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 5

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions food processing machinery manufacturers ask before they call.

Can the machine record show which sheet lot made which tank?

Yes. Heat numbers are entered when the sheet is received and linked to the vessel when it is cut. An auditor’s question about one tank gets its answer from a single record. No digging.

Do we need this if we build only a few machines a year?

Not always. A small builder with simple hoppers can manage on drawings and a binder. Mixed options, bought-in gearmotors and repeat seal orders make a record worth keeping.

Does the software prove our machines meet food hygiene rules?

No. It holds the checks you perform. That is all. The rules that apply, and the reading each check must reach, are agreed with your quality and regulatory people in the first workshops.

Can the test report go to the customer’s engineer?

Yes. The factory acceptance record can be printed or shared as a document. Layout and content are agreed with you in the first workshop.

What happens after I share my requirements?

An engineer reads what you send and replies within one business day. We then look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough. You get a short written summary ordered by priority, with no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. That first review settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
