Manufacturing · Software for chemical manufacturers

A customer asks for the COA of a batch from March, and it takes us half a day.

Chemical, rubber and plastic manufacturers keep formulations in Excel, batch records on paper and QC results in a register, so tracing a batch takes hours. GullySystem builds batch, QC and dispatch software around your formulations and plant. It starts with a free technology audit of the records you keep today.

At a glance

You make specialty chemicals, adhesives, coatings, cleaning products, rubber parts or plastic mouldings for industrial buyers who want the same quality every time.

That promise lives in formulations, batch records and QC results, usually kept by two people who know where everything is.

How the work runs today

Raw materials arrive with a supplier COA. QC tests a sample, approves the lot, and the store keeper records it. Production issues material against a batch sheet with the formulation, charges and process times.

Each finished batch is tested, a COA is prepared for the customer, and material is filled into drums, carboys or bags with labels and MSDS. Rubber and plastic units track moulds, cycle times and rejection instead.

Dispatch needs an invoice, e-way bill and the right batch documents. Customers complain now and then, and the batch has to be traced back to raw material lots.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for chemical manufacturers without a proper system.

Tracing a batch takes hours

The batch sheet, QC register and raw material inward are in different files and cupboards.

Formulations live in one person’s Excel

Recipe changes are not versioned, and nobody knows which version made last month’s batch.

Rejection and yield are not measured

Off-spec batches are reworked or blended without a record, so real yield stays unknown.

Drums and containers go missing

Returnable drums sent to customers are tracked on paper, and many never come back.

What the software does

What we would build for chemical manufacturers.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Formulation master with versions

Recipes with version history, visible only to the people you authorise.

Batch manufacturing record

Material issued, process steps, operator and yield for each batch, entered at the plant.

QC and COA

Test results for raw material and finished batches, with COAs generated from them.

Lot traceability

Any finished batch traced back to raw material lots and forward to customers.

Returnable container register

Drums and carboys sent and returned, by customer.

Mould and rejection log

For rubber and plastic units, cycles per mould, rejection by reason and mould maintenance.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 01

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, Tally reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 02

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 03

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 04

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 05

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions chemical manufacturers ask before they call.

Will Tally still handle our GST and accounts?

Yes. Invoices, purchases and stock values post to Tally, while batch, QC and formulation detail stays in the new system.

Does the software make us compliant with pollution or safety rules?

No. Compliance comes from your plant and processes. The software records batches, tests and dispatches so you can answer an audit or customer query quickly.

Should we buy a process manufacturing ERP instead?

Larger plants may fit a ready process ERP well. Smaller units often need only batch records, QC and traceability, which is simpler to build around Tally.

How are our formulations protected?

Formulations are visible only to named people, every view is logged, and batch sheets on the floor can show quantities without the full recipe.

What happens in the free technology audit?

We look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough to start. You get a report ordered by priority, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. The audit settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
