Manufacturing · Software for stainless steel fabricators

Record the grade, the heat and the finish behind every stainless weld.

Buyers pay for clean metal that will not rust, which puts the grade, the weld finish and the pickling step as important as the shape. Metal is dear. The stainless fabricator software ties each job to its sheet or tube grade, heat number, weld and polish records. Kitchens, tanks and process pipework each carry their own paperwork. A heat number is read off the record, never recalled from a chat.

At a glance

A stainless fabricator makes work tables, hoods, tanks, vessels, conveyors and pipework for kitchens, dairies, breweries and pharmaceutical plants. The metal costs far more than mild steel, and a scratch or a rust spot ruins a day’s labour. Care starts at the rack.

Customers in food and process industries ask for the grade, the surface finish and the weld quality. Software for stainless steel fabricators keeps those facts with the job, so a buyer receives a certificate pack and not a promise.

How the work runs today

A quote begins with a drawing or a site measure. The estimator counts sheet area, tube length, welded joints and the finish asked for, whether a brushed number four, a mirror polish or a bead blasted surface. Sheet in grades such as 304 and 316 is bought with a mill certificate and kept on racks away from carbon steel, to avoid contamination. Parts are laser cut or sheared, rolled, formed and welded by TIG, then pickled or passivated. Every step leaves a mark.

Weld seams are ground and polished, sometimes by hand and sometimes on a belt, until the finish the buyer wrote on the drawing is met on every visible face. Hygienic work needs smooth, crevice free joints. Seams get checked twice. Tanks and pipework may be tested with water or air. Large work is built in sections and joined at site. Sections must match. Packing protects the surface with film or wrap, and a dispatch pack carries the material certificates, the weld records and any test results the buyer asked for before the order was placed.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for stainless steel fabricators without a proper system.

The grade on the job is a guess

Racks hold 304 and 316 side by side, and a sheet loses its tag when it is cut. The wrong grade can be welded into a tank before anyone notices.

Certificates are not tied to parts

A food plant asks for the mill certificate behind a vessel. The fabricator holds a pile of sheet certificates and no record of which sheet became which part. That is a gap.

Finish standards are verbal

The buyer wanted a mirror finish on the visible faces and a brushed finish inside. The polisher heard something else, and the work is redone. The cost is real.

Quotes under count the polishing

Grinding and polishing hours are the hidden cost of stainless. A price built on weight alone does not cover them.

Pickling and passivation are untracked

Parts go out for chemical treatment and return with no note of the bath date or the acid used. A rust complaint cannot be followed. No trail exists.

What the software does

What we would build for stainless steel fabricators.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Quotes with finish and polish hours

Price by sheet area, tube length, weld count, finish grade and polish hours, using your own rates for each stainless grade.

Grade and heat tracking

Book in sheet, tube and fittings by grade, thickness and heat, and mark each cut part with the heat it came from.

Certificate pack builder

Collect mill certificates, weld records and test results for a job into one pack that goes out with the delivery.

Forming, weld and polish stages

Move each job through cutting, rolling, welding, grinding, polishing and cleaning, with the finish asked for shown on every card.

Pickling and passivation record

Log parts sent for chemical treatment, the date, the process used and the return, with the result noted by your quality staff.

Hygienic work checks

Record weld seam checks, surface roughness readings and leak or hydro tests against the vessel or table they belong to.

Site assembly and dispatch

Plan sections for transport, record film wrapping and loading, and track site fit up and snags after delivery.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, accounting reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

Common questions

Questions stainless steel fabricators ask before they call.

Can we keep 304 and 316 apart in the system?

Yes. Sheets, tubes and fittings are booked in by grade and heat, and a cut part keeps that mark. The rack list shows what remains of each.

Does it produce a certificate pack for the buyer?

It gathers the mill certificates, weld records and test results held on the job into one pack. What each pack must contain is agreed with your customer’s own quality staff.

Can finish grades be recorded for each face of a part?

Yes. The job card lists the finish for the visible faces and for the inside, so the polisher works from the buyer’s instruction.

Do we need this for a small kitchen equipment shop?

A shop that makes a few tables a week can run on a diary. Once vessels, certificates and food plant audits appear, records start to carry real weight.

What happens after I share my requirements?

An engineer reads what you send and replies within one business day. We then look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough. You get a short written summary ordered by priority, with no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. That first review settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
