Manufacturing · Software for door and window manufacturers

Follow every opening from site measurement to the fitted frame and glass unit.

A door and window maker sells openings, not profiles. Each one has a size taken on site, a section, a finish, a glass specification and a hardware set. The door and window manufacturer software holds the opening schedule, cutting lists, glass unit orders and fitting crews together, so the factory builds what the site measured.

At a glance

Frames are cut from long lengths of aluminium, uPVC or timber, and every length has an offcut that either gets used or gets binned. Glass is ordered to the millimetre from a processor, toughened or laminated to that size, and cannot be returned once it is cut, so every order depends on a clean schedule. A wrong size costs a frame and a pane. That hurts.

The software keeps the opening schedule as the one record. Measurements, profile cuts, glass sizes, hardware and the installation visit all hang from it. Your own sections, finishes, hardware sets and glass processor go into the schedule before anything else, so the first opening you key in reads like your shop floor.

How the work runs today

A builder or homeowner sends plans, or your surveyor measures the openings on site. You quote per opening with its type, such as casement, sliding, tilt and turn or fixed light, its colour and its glass. After approval the surveyor’s sizes go to the factory as a schedule, and the cutting list is drawn from it.

The saw cuts profile to length with mitred or square ends. Reinforcement goes into the chambers, frames are welded or screwed, and hardware is fitted. Glass units arrive from the processor and are glazed in. Frames are labelled by opening. The installation crew fits them and notes any snag.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for door and window manufacturers without a proper system.

Site sizes are retyped at the factory

The surveyor writes a measurement on a sheet, and somebody rekeys it for the saw at the factory, often a day later. A swapped width and height builds a frame that fits no opening. Rework follows.

Profile offcuts have no owner

Remnants of white or woodgrain section sit in racks with no length noted. New bars are cut. An offcut could have covered the job.

Glass is ordered against stale sizes

A changed opening means a changed pane. The processor has already toughened the old one. The cost lands on your account, and the glass cannot go back.

Hardware sets get mixed between jobs

Handles, hinges and multipoint locks are packed loose in a bin. A tilt and turn set ends up on a fixed casement, and the crew finds out only when they unpack it at the site. Wrong set, wrong day.

Installed work has no snag trail

A scratched sash or a gap at the sill is raised by phone weeks later. Nobody can show which crew fitted that opening or which profile batch it came from, so the argument runs on memory. No trail.

What the software does

What we would build for door and window manufacturers.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Opening schedule from the survey

Record each opening with its type, size, colour, glass and hardware set as measured, and keep every revision the customer approves.

Profile cutting lists

Turn the schedule into cut lengths per bar, grouped by section and colour, with usable offcuts returned to a rack record.

Glass unit orders

Raise the glass order from the approved opening sizes, send it to the processor, and tick units off as they arrive.

Hardware kit per opening

Group hinges, handles, locks and gaskets into a kit for each opening, so the assembly bench picks one labelled bag.

Fabrication and glazing tracking

Mark each frame as cut, reinforced, welded, glazed and labelled, so a late door shows where it is waiting.

Installation crews and snags

Plan crews by site, record each opening as fitted and log snags with a photograph against that opening for the rework visit.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, accounting reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 5

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions door and window manufacturers ask before they call.

Can the schedule hold different window types in one order?

Yes. Casement, sliding, tilt and turn, fixed light and door leaves sit in one schedule, each with its own section, colour and hardware set.

Does it work out cutting lengths?

It builds cutting lists from the sizes and the section rules you give us, set up with your production lead. The saw operator checks the first frame.

Can we track timber, aluminium and uPVC together?

Yes. Each material has its own bar lengths and stock rack, and one customer order can mix them.

Can our running orders be brought over?

Yes. Your current orders and customer records are keyed in from the files you hold, and a few openings are compared on screen with the office before anyone relies on it.

What happens after I share my requirements?

An engineer reads what you send and replies within one business day. We then look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough. You get a short written summary ordered by priority, with no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. That first review settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
